Chapter 42

Y/N'S POV

"Hagrid is back" we hear Hermione say

Her and I quickly go to our dorm to put on something that will keep us warm and quickly rejoin the boys in the common room before going out

We put the Invisibility cloak over us and quietly walk through the many corridors of the castle. We soon arrive in front of Hagrid's hut and the boy with glasses knocks

The half giant lets us enter and we see that he's in a really bad state, with blood and cuts everywhere

"What happend to you?" I ask

"It's nothing"

"Something clearly happened if you're covered in cuts and blood"

After pleading him, he finally tells us what happened while he was away. As we try to make him tell us who attacked him we hear a knock on the door and we all gasp

"It's Umbridge"

Harry grabs the Invisibility cloak and we stay silent until she leaves

"That was so fucking close" I say as we walk back towards the castle

"We have to help Hagrid...that woman will fire him if she doesn't like the way he teaches"

"I will help you Mione. We can come back tomorrow to prepare a few lessons"

After arriving in our dorm I put on my pajamas and fall asleep

A few weeks later the Christmas holidays start and when I see my dad at the train station in London I tell him that I would like to spend the holidays at Grimmauld Place. When I arrive I go hug Ron and the other Weasleys

"I heard about Arthur...is he alright?"

"Yeah, dad's fine. We visited him yesterday" Ginny says

"That's good to know"

Lauren arrives an hour later and after having lunch we go visit Mr Weasley. As we walk around St. Mungo in search of the tearoom we see someone that we know really well

"Professor Lockhart!"

We spend some time with him and I giggle a little when he keeps trying to give us his autographs

"Are you already leaving Mrs Longbottom?"

When I hear that surname I turn my head and see Neville with who I suppose is his grandmother

Why is he here?

"Neville!" the others see him too

"Are you here to visit someone?"

"Are these your friends Neville?" his grandmother asks

I shake her hand and as she talks we all understand that they're here to visit Neville's parents that got tortured until insanity by Bellatrix Lestrange

"I- I didn't know" Hermione says

"Same"

"Neither did I"

"I knew" Harry says

"Dumbledore told me but I promised to not say anything"

We nod and spend some more time with Lockhart

We are playing a few muggles games and I giggle as Hermione and I try to explain the rules to the others. I get up to go to the bathroom and at the same time Tonks gets up too

As we both walk past the door almost at the same time I hear the others giggle so I turn around only to see two of my friends pointing at something above our heads and when I look up I blush

Mistletoe

I look at the purple haired girl not knowing what to do and I watch as she giggles

"You know...the tradition says that if you are under the mistletoe with someone you have to kiss that person" she says

"I know" I roll my eyes in a playful way

She comes closer and wraps one of her arms around my waist

"If you don't want it...I'm not gonna kiss you Y/n"

I look at her and then look at Lauren. In that moment all the times that I've seen her kissing Brad come to my mind and for the first time since I started having a crush on my green eyed friend I start thinking about the fact that she will probably never like me back

Fuck it

"Kiss me Nymphadora"

I wrap my arms around her neck and bring her face closer to mine. Soon her lips are on mine and I hear some whistles. We start making out and I moan a little when her tongue makes contact with mine

"Get it girls!" Sirius says

I pull away when I run out of breath and smile at Tonks. I look at the others and notice that Lauren isn't here anymore

"Where did Lauren go?" I ask Hermione

"After you and Tonks started kissing she run out of the room"

LAUREN'S POV

I quickly go inside the room that I stayed in during the summer and close the door

They fucking kissed

"Fuck that mistletoe" I say outloud

I lay on the bed and bury my face in the pillow to muffle a frustrated groan

I wanted to be Y/n's first kiss

The imagine of Tonks and Y/n kissing runs through my head and I groan again. Jealousy runs all over my body and I realize that I want Y/n to be mine, I want her to be in my arms forever and I want to spend the rest of my life with her

I need to break up with Brad

Lauren and Brad will break up in one of the next chapters 👀 do y'all want me to let them break up because Lauren finds out that he's cheating or because Lauren doesn't want to be with him anymore? Let me know
