Chapter 50

LAUREN'S POV

I watch as Y/n peacefully sleeps in my arms and I smile before yawning. I didn't sleep all night, everytime I would close my eyes images of what Malfoy could have done to her if I didn't arrive in time kept showing up in my head and they would keep me awake

I turn my head to look at the clock and when I see that it's only 6am I groan, Y/n opens her beautiful y/e/c eyes and looks at me

"Something wrong?"

"Nothing, go back to sleep nugget" I say

"Why do you look like you didn't sleep at all?"

"Because I didn't"

"And why is that?" she rubs her eyes

"B-because everytime I would close my eyes images of what could have happened to you if I didn't arrive in time when Malfoy was touching you kept clouding my mind"

I start tearing up and when she cups my cheeks with her hand I lean into her touch, a few tears slid down my cheeks and I watch as she wipes them away

"Please don't cry, I'm safe and I'm here with you...now try to sleep"

She kisses me on the cheek and I blush, she starts stroking my hair and I feel my eyelids getting heavy. I lay my head on the pillow and finally fall asleep

"Lauren, can we talk?"

I nod and after Y/n leaves the kitchen I look at my parents

"The dinner at the Malfoy's was actually planned a few weeks before the end of your 5th year and we want you to know why" my dad says

"The fact is...Lucius wants you to marry his son"

"WHAT?" I get up from the chair

"Please stay calm"

"How can I stay calm when I just found out that someone wants me to marry the platinum blond haired douche bag?" I almost shout

"Calm down, we were supposed to talk about it yesterday night but since Lucius is in Azkaban and Narcissa wants Draco to marry someone he loves we agreed to not mention it to you guys"

"I don't care, I don't want to marry him"

"And we won't force you mija...but why do you despise him so much?" my mom asks

"Well, I could start from the fact that he forced himself on Y/n yesterday night"

"And I also want to add that I like someone at the moment and I don't want to think about marriage"

"Mija this was not our idea...it came from Lucius because he wants the pureblood line to continue and the first pureblood family he thought about was ours"

"I don't fucking care! The only person I'm thinking about marrying in the future is Y/n and..." I cover my mouth with my hand

"W-what?"

I blush and look at my parents while biting my lip

"You like Y/n?"

"Y-yeah" I look down

Soon I feel two pair of arms hug me and I look at the both of them

"We support you Lauren"

"R-really?"

They nod and I hug them

(Three weeks later)

Y/N'S POV

"Happy birthday nugget" I hear someone say

I open my eyes and see Lauren smiling at me, I smile too and she kisses me on the cheek. I sit up on the bed and tell her to sit next to me so that we can cuddle

For most of the day I teach some muggle games to my green eyed friend and as we're playing one Clara comes towards us

"Hey girls why don't you go around town for a little while?"

"Yeah, why not" I say

I get up from the couch and so does Lauren, we leave the house and my green eyed friend takes me to her favourite places. A few hours later we decide to go back home and Lauren tells me to open the door

"SURPRISE"

I jump a little and smile when I see all the people I love, I hug everyone and my birthday party starts. At some point I notice that Tonks has been staying outside most of the time and I decide to go talk to her

"Hey, are you alright?"

"Yeah"

"No, you're not...I noticed your grey hair and your sad expression...what's going on?" I ask her

"I- I like someone...but he doesn't like me back"

"And how do you know that?"

"Because I confessed and he told me...well, not with those exact words but he made himself pretty clear"

"Can I know who it is?"

"It's...Remus"

I gasp and look at her wide eyed

"Y-you like Remus? Since when?"

"Well, I confessed a few weeks ago and he turned me down by saying that I deserve someone better because he's a werewolf and he's 13 years older than me" she says

"I'm sorry about that...he'll soon realize the mistake he made by turning down a beauty like you"

I hug her tightly and she hugs me back, I keep Nymphadora close to me and we cuddle for a little while

"Here is the birthday girl"

I turn my head and I see my sister, I smile at her and she says that it's time for the cake. We get up and go back inside just when the cake gets brought in the living room

I get behind it and when everyone starts singing Happy Birthday I smile, when they finish I decide to make a wish

I want my friends and family to always be safe

I blow out the candles and smile more

Wow...we reached chapter 50...pretty crazy
