(A few days later)
Y/N'S POV
Since I have nothing to do I decide to go to my grandma's office to spend some time with her, I knock on the door and enter
"Hello dear, have a seat"
I smile at her and sit on a chair, I watch as she makes tea for the both of us and I go grab two cups
"So tell me...what did the poor guy do to make you act like that?" she asks before taking the first sip
"Are you talking about Brad?"
"Yes"
"He was cheating on Lauren and he made her cry" I say
"I see...you like that girl, don't you?"
I blush after she says that and I take a sip to hide it
"Am I that obvious? You aren't the first one that noticed"
"Yes sweetheart, you're pretty obvious" she smiles
She takes my hands in hers and looks at me in the eyes
"Why don't you tell her?"
"It's not that easy grandma...I can't just go to her and say 'hey, I like you, do you want to be my girlfriend?' I'll just embarrass myself"
"And I don't think she likes me that way" I continue
"You don't know that...maybe she likes you too but is afraid to tell you"
I nod but deep down in my heart I know that she will never feel the same way

I arrive at the Room of Requirement and quickly go inside. As I wait for the meeting to start I notice a girl that I've never seen during our previous meetings
"Hey, are you new to the Dumbledore's army?" I ask her
"Actually yeah...I was talking with my friend about the fact that Umbridge isn't teaching us how to properly defend ourselves and she told me about this army so I decided to join"
I smile and I reach out my hand, she shakes it and smiles at me too
"I'm Y/n Y/l/n"
"Jade Thirlwall"
"Ok guys, find a partner and start working" Harry says
"Want to work together?" I ask Jade
She smiles and nods and we get into position. We practice a few spells and she soon manages to stunt me
"Great job" I tell her
As we keep practicing I feel eyes on me but I just shrug it off, when I see that Jade is looking at something behind me I put away my wand and furrow my eyebrows
"What are you looking at?"
"Why is that girl glaring at me?"
I turn my head to see who's glaring at her and when I notice that it's Lauren I blush a little
Is she jealous? No she can't be
"Who is she?" Jade asks me
"Hm...she's my friend...I don't know why she's glaring at you though"
She giggles and tells me to just forget about it so that we can keep practicing

"Will you tell me why you keep seeing that girl?" Lauren asks me
"Keep seeing who?"
"The girl that joined the army recently...Jade"
"She's nice and we're becoming friends...why do I need to stop seeing her?"
I don't notice my friend rolling her eyes at my reply and we keep walking through the corridors
"You really should stop seeing her"
"Why Lauren? Give me a valid reason and I'll stop hanging out with Jade" I tell her
Instead of saying something she pins me against the wall and I gasp when she brings her face closer to mine
"L-lauren"
"Stop. Seeing. Her" she marks every word
"W-we have to go to class" I say
"I don't fucking care about class! Just say that you won't hang out with her anymore!"
"Why?! Give me a goddam reason Jauregui!"
"Because I'm-" she stops herself
I arch an eyebrow and she backs up a little
"Forget what I said"
She leaves and I stay still with my back against the wall
What the hell was that?
I decide to skip class and go to my dorm, when I arrive I lay in bed and let out a sigh. Some time later someone enters and I hear a voice
"There you are, why didn't you come to class?"
"I needed to think"
"About what?" Hermione asks me
"About Lauren and why she has been acting strange these past two weeks"
She sits on the bed and I sit up to look at her
"Tell me what happened"
Alright...I put one of you guy's suggestions (hope that who suggested likes it) but since I'm a big bottom for Lauren I made her the one pinning Y/n against the wall
