Y/N'S POV
"Sweetheart can you please come downstairs?" I hear my dad calling me
"I'll be down in a minute"
I put down the book that I was reading and put my hair in a messy bun before going downstairs
"Do you need something dad?"
"Look who came to see you"
"Lo!" I run to her
She hugs me tightly and I relax in her arms, I look up at her and blush a little
"I also came by to ask you if you wanted to come spend the summer at our house"
"I would love to, let's go tell my parents" I grab her hand
We go in the kitchen and I smile when I see my parents talking with Lauren's dad
"Mike already told us about you going to the Jauregui's for the summer and that's fine with us" they say
"Great! I'm gonna go pack my things"
I take Lauren to my room and she helps me pack, as I fold my clothes to put them in my luggage I notice my green eyed friend looking at my bedside table
"You still have this?"
It was a moving picture of us smiling at each other, it was taken during our second year by that little guy Colin Creevey
He stated that it was strange seeing a Gryffindor and a Slytherin getting along after finding out about our houses rivalry so he wanted to take a picture of us to prove that rivalry is a stupid thing
"Of course" I smile
I finish packing, grab Odette's cage, and we go back downstairs. I hug my parents and we all go outside where the two Jauregui's and I apparate to their house

I go downstairs and hug Taylor that is sitting at the table
"Good morning, do you need help with breakfast?" I ask Clara
"No dear, it's alright"
When breakfast is ready Lauren arrives and we start eating, as I eat I look outside and see two owls flying towards the house
"I think they're your O.W.L.S results girls"
I grab Lauren's hand and watch as the owls arrive in the kitchen, I take my letter from the one on the left and open it

Care of the magical creatures: O
Charms: O
Defense against the dark arts: O
Muggle studies: O
Herbology: O
History of magic: E
Potions: O
Transfiguration: O
I calm down and let out a deep breath after I finish reading the letter, I look over at Lauren's one and smile when I see all O's and just one E
"We did it!" I hug her smiling
"Yeah we did" she smiles and hugs me back
We finish eating breakfast and decide to go outside, we sit on the ground and I lay my head on my green eyed friend's shoulder
"I like being at your house"
We stay silent for a few minutes and when she says my name I look up at her
"Y/n, do you like Tonks?"
"No...why are you asking me that?"
"Because I saw you two kissing at the train station last week...and you also kissed at Christmas and I..."
I place my index finger on her mouth to stop her rambling and I blush when the skin of my finger touches her lips
"I had a crush on her...but it never went past that" I say
She nods and I pull my finger away, I bring my face closer to hers and close my eyes. When our lips are about to touch we hear a voice
"Lauren! Go help your sister!" Clara shouts

I sit up on the bed and breath heavily, I quickly get up and run towards Lauren's bedroom with tears running down my cheeks. When I open the door I run towards her bed and hug her tightly
"What the...nugget?"
I cry into her chest and tighten my grip on her, she whispers sweet nothings into my ear while stroking my hair and I eventually calm down
"What's wrong?"
"I- I had a n-nightmare" I say in between sobs
"What was it about?"
"Y-you telling me t-that you just p-pretended to be my friend...a-and then i-it switched to you getting k-killed by You-Know-Who"
She holds me close to her and kisses me on the forehead
"It was just a nightmare, nothing that you dreamed of will happen" she whispers
"Can I stay here please? I- I don't want to go back to my bedroom"
"Of course you can stay nugget"
Lauren starts singing and I smile when I hear her raspy voice
"I didn't know you could sing"
"Now you do" she smiles
She keeps singing and her beautiful voice lulls me to sleep
"I will protect you from everything"
Is the last thing that I hear before I fall asleep in Lauren's arms
