From enemies to lovers (Lauren/You)

Chapter 60

Y/N'S POV

After disassembling the tent and removing the protection spells we leave the forest and apparate near a little city

"I'm gonna go look for some food" Harry says

"Alright...be careful"

We wait for him to return and when he does we see that he has no food

"What happened?" I ask when I notice that he's out of breath

"Dementors"

"Why didn't you conjure a Patronus?"

"I couldn't do it...I don't know why"

"Maybe it's because of the Horcrux? I mean...it's full of dark magic after all and it can probably bring out negative emotions" I say

"Try taking it off"

He does just that and as he hands it to Hermione he looks at us surprised

"I'm feeling much better" he says

"Good, we'll take turns wearing it from now on"

I nod and we decide to leave since there are Dementors around, the days pass by in a blur and at some point we decide to go back to London

Since I can't sleep I decide to go outside the tent and look at the sky, I lay down on the ground  and try to relax

"Can't sleep?" I hear Harry's voice

"No...and it seems like I'm not the only one" I refer to him

He giggles and lies down next to me, we look at the sky and stay silent

"What are you thinking about?"

"I'm thinking about my dad...my sister...and Lauren" I reply

"You miss them don't you?"

"Yeah but I know I'll see them again...we'll destroy all the Horcruxes and defeat You-know-who"

"That could take a lot of time"

"I know but I'm not loosing hope"

I turn my head and look at Harry

"We can do it...as long as we're together"

"You're right...we can do it"

I look up at the sky again and I end up falling asleep

Another week passes and after hearing a conversation, Hermione remembers something. She grabs her purse and after some time takes out a portrait

"Phineas Nigellus?" I ask

"He can tell us what happened with the sword"

After blindfolding him we ask him what happened and he tells us that after Ginny, Neville, Luna and Lauren got caught they were sent to the Forbidden Forest with Hagrid as a detention

"Where do you guys think Dumbledore left the real sword?"

"I don't know...maybe somewhere in Hogsmeade?"

"Probably...what do you say Ron?"

"Ah, you finally remembered that I'm here"

"What?"

"Keep going on...I wouldn't want to interrupt you and Hermione"

"Ron...if you didn't notice I'm here too..." I say

"I know but they're in their own little bubble right now...can't you see?"

"What's wrong? Why are you acting like this?"

Ron and Harry soon start arguing and I try to calm them down

"Guys please...you need to stop"

"THEN LEAVE! Go back to your family"

"Harry no...don't say that"

After taking off the Horcrux, Ron grabs his bag and goes towards the exit of the tent

"Are you staying or what?" he asks Hermione

"I...I'm staying...we promised to help Harry and..."

The brown haired girl and I follow Ron outside and try to stop him

"Please! Let's talk about this! Don't leave!" I shout

He disapparates in front of us and Hermione lets out a sob

"Let's go inside or we'll catch a cold"

When we go back inside we are soaking wet because of the rain, the brown eyed girl curls up in a chair and starts crying. I sit down on one of the beds and try to wipe away the tears that are sliding down my cheeks

I can't believe Ron left us

LAUREN'S POV

I lay down on my bed and close my eyes

I want all of this to end

Hogwarts used to be such a joyful place but now thanks to Snape and the Carrow twins no one even dares to do little pranks around the corridors

Unconsciously I start playing with the bracelet Y/n gave me for Christmas a few years ago and I smile a little

A few tears slide down my cheeks and I quickly bury my face in my pillow so I don't wake the others up with my crying

I miss Y/n so much

I saw some of you being worried that something might happen to Lauren since Y/n received Phoenix Tears...Lauren will be alright, her and Y/n will have their happy ending I promise 😊
