*A few months later*
Y/N'S POV
Easter holidays finally arrived and us second year students have to choose which subjects to do for our third year
"I honestly don't know what to choose" I say as I look at all the subjects on the list
"Choose the ones you might think you would like or go well, it works for me" Lauren says
"What did you choose?" I ask looking over at her list
"For now I have my eyes set on Cure of the magical creatures and Ancient runes but I might choose another one"
"Well...I think I'll go with Cure of the magical creatures and Divination and I might do Muggle studies too"
"Muggle studies? Couldn't be me"
"I know you come from a pure blood family but let me tell you that muggles are so cool and fascinating and you can learn a lot about them"
"Really? Then maybe I should try Muggle studies too?"
I smile and clap my hands excitedly
"I promise you will not regret it"

Today there's going to be a Quidditch match and with Ron I start to go to the stands when professor McGonagall announces that the game is cancelled
"What's happening?"
"I don't know...let's go see"
We reach Harry who's talking with professor McGonagall and the older woman looks at us
"Yeah, I think it's best if you two come too"
We start walking towards the infirmary and when we're about to enter our Transfiguration professor tells us that there was a double attack. We go inside and see Madame Pomfrey in front of a bed with a Ravenclaw girl and on the bed next to them there was...
"Hermione!"
I feel hot tears streaming down my face as I watch one of my best friends motionless on that hospital bed
"We found them near the library, now come I'll escort you back to the Gryffindor tower"

"I can't believe what happened to Hermione" I say hugging my knees
"Do you guys think they suspect of Hagrid?"
"We need to talk to him" Harry says
"B-but...McGonagall said we can't leave the towers when we're not in class"
The boy with glasses takes out his invisibility cloak and tells us that we'll use it when everyone has gone to bed. When the last of my roommates goes to sleep I go down in the common room and find the boys waiting for me. We get under the cloak and walk through the corridors towards the principal entrance
When we arrive at Hagrid's hut we barely have time to talk to him that someone knocks at the door. We get under the invisibility cloak once again and watch what happens
"Good evening Hagrid" Dumbledore enters with another man following him
"That's my father's boss! Cornelius Fudge, the minister of magic"
Some time later Lucius Malfoy enters
"What are you doing here Lucius?"
"I need to tell you something Dumbledore. The school board thinks that you should stand aside, this is a suspension order" the blonde haired man says
"You can't do that! If you send him away it will be over for muggle borns!"
"Stay calm Hagrid...now let's go"
As we watch them leave Hagrid stops walking and says
"Who wants to find something, must follow the spiders. This will get him on the right track. That's all I have to say" and with that said they leave

Hagrid and Dumbledore have been gone for fifteen days now and as much as we would've wanted to follow the half giant allusion to spiders we couldn't do it because there wasn't any spider left in the castle
As we are doing an Herbology lesson Harry taps my shoulder
"What?" he points at something on the floor
I look down and see spiders
"I see...but we can't follow them now" Ron says
"It seems like they're going towards the forest..."
Some days later we take the invisibility cloak again and go outside towards Hagrid's hut to collect his dog. Soon we find ourselves in the Forbidden Forest
We keep walking and at some point the dog barks
"There's something there"
A flashing light blinds us and we cover our eyes. When it's gone we look around to see what it was and Ron exclaims
"It's my dad's car!"
"The one you two used to arrive here at the start of the year?" the red haired boy nods
"We lost the spiders"
I feel something wrap around ny waist and I soon find myself upside down with Harry and Ron in the same situation. I realize that the things holding us are spiders and I watch as they take us deep inside the forest. After I don't know how long they let us free and we fall on the ground
"Aragog!" one of the spiders calls
"What?"
"Humans"
"Is it Hagrid?"
"Strangers"
"Kill them" this Aragog says
"Wait, we're Hagrid's friends" Harry tells him
"He's in trouble and that's why we're here" I add
We explain what happened and Aragog tells us what happened 50 years ago
"So...you know the thing that killed the girl? Because whatever it is it came back and the aggressions restarted"
"We don't talk about the creature that lives in the castle, I never told Hagrid and he asked me a lot of times"
"Well...now we'll go" Harry says
But we find ourselves surrounded by spiders. I take out my wand and Harry does the same when we see Mr Weasley's car coming towards us. We all get inside and we exit the forest
"Follow the spiders" Ron says
"It's a miracle we're alive" he adds
"At least now we know that Hagrid is innocent, let's go back" I say
And with the invisibility cloak wrapped around us we go back to the castle
