From enemies to lovers (Lauren/You)

Chapter 37

Y/N'S POV

"Two dementors attacked Harry and his cousin?!" Hermione and I shout

"Yeah...we don't know how they got there but we'll take care of it. Now it's better if you guys go back to your rooms"

"What?! No, we want to know! Harry is our friend!" Ron says

"Guys please, we'll tell you more when it's time...now go to your rooms" Molly looks at us

We reluctantly do as she says and go to one of the rooms. Hermione starts pacing around and I fidget with my hands

"I wish we could send Harry an owl"

"Same but you know we can't" Ginny says

Four days later we see a few members of the older leaving at an unusual time and we go ask Sirius what's happening

"They're going to Harry's house and they'll bring him here"

"Finally"

An hour or so later the boy with glasses enters the room we're in and Hermione runs to hug him

"Ok guys, today we'll get rid of the Doxies that are in the living room" Molly says

We all nod and we spend most of the morning in getting rid of the Doxies. When it's almost lunch time Molly goes to the kitchen to cook and we lay on the couches to relax a little

I watch as Lauren leaves and I roll my eyes

"What's going on between you and Lauren?" Hermione asks me

"She is ignoring me" I lay my head on her shoulder

"And why is that?"

"I don't know"

Some time later we go to the kitchen and sit at the table to have lunch. After eating we return to the living room to finish the job

"Need some help?"

Tonks hugs me from behind and kisses me on the cheek as I blush. She holds me close and I stop moving to lean into her touch

"Hey Tonks, stop hugging Y/n and help us with these Doxies" Molly says

The purple haired girl nods and soon we start cleaning the room

"Mom, don't you think we did enough for today? We're all exhausted" Fred says

"You're right...we did enough. Let's put away the things we used and then we can relax"

After doing that I sit on the couch and start cuddling with Tonks

"You're comfy" I tell her

She giggles and we stay like that until it's time for dinner

Hermione and I pace around the room as we wait for Harry to come back from his court hearing

"Will you girls please calm down?"

I sit on the bed and look at the door every two seconds

They can't expel him

Some time later the boy with glasses enters the room and we all look at him

"Acquitted of all charges" he says

"Yes! I knew it!" we all hug him

"Let's go celebrate"

That night I go back to my room and when I finish getting changed into my pajamas I see Lauren enter. I look at her and take a deep breath

"Can we please talk?"

She nods and we both sit on her bed

"Why are you ignoring me?"

"Did I do something wrong? It's already been two weeks" I say with tears in my eyes

"I- I feel like you don't care about me anymore" she says

"Why would you say that Lauren?"

"Ever since you met Tonks...it's almost like I don't exist for you" (A/N she's saying this out of jealousy, not Y/n's fault at all)

Did I really start ignoring her after meeting Tonks?

"Lo...I'm sorry I made you feel that way...I didn't realize I was ignoring you" I apologize

"It's fine, I should've told you sooner about how I was feeling"

With a smile on my face I hug her tightly and she hugs me back

As I read the list of books that I'll need to buy for school I see both Hermione and Lauren covering their mouths with their hands

"Oh my god!"

"What? What happened?" I take the letter out of her hand

"I'm a prefect!" both of them say

"I have to go tell Ron and Harry" my Gryffindor friend says before running out of the room

"I'm so happy for you Lo" I hug her tightly

That night we celebrate the fact that Ron, Hermione and Lauren became prefects

Slightly shorter chapter,I'll do better next time
Also...I know that Pansy was made prefect during 5th year but I wanted Lauren to be one so...🤷‍♀️😂
