I knew it was all in the past, but shaking the feeling of 'what if' still haunted me. I loved my elder brother. He was my family after all.

I wonder if someone else I know has a regret. I pursed my lips. Then it dawned on me. Jason might have one. He's had a tragic life. He's bound to have one. Or am I stereotyping?

Most likely.

"Aden," I called out.

"Yes?" He asked.

"Do you have any regrets?"

"I use to have one." He responded.

"How did you get rid of it?"

"Forgiving myself."

My eyes grew wide. Forgiving myself?

He continued, "forgiving oneself is hard, but once you have, you'll be happier."

I wanted to say something but I wasn't sure how. There's never been anything I needed to forgive myself for. Or so I thought.

I went out to the edge of a cliff and sat cross-legged.

Looking back at the event, I feel lots of different emotions. Sadness, hate, regret.

I let out a breath.

"I'm sorry for killing you, my brother," I spoke in English. He wouldn't know Chinese. At the same time. tears welled up in my eyes. "I didn't know there was another way. I was just a little girl."

Still, I refused to cry.

Instead, I picked up some snow and smiled. My elder brother loved snow.

I stood up and left the snowfall off the cliff.

This was a start, to forgive myself.

After that, I realized I was freer. I kept on letting go of my negative emotions and finally after February ended. I started back on Cultivating.

Throughout March I cultivated. Sometimes I would practice my healing and my combat.

Though, my biggest accomplishment was my cultivation. By the end of March, I was Rank 3 Level 9.

It was April now and the wedding was on April 21st.

I was in the library right now looking at a map because truth is told, I had no idea where Ivory Meadow's was. The map showed it was somewhere up north, but it didn't give a specific location. Little did I know. Having a map that even hinted at this location was highly sought after. This one map could buy anyone's ownership to become the next Emperor of most empires.

Still, like most things, I had no idea. I just grabbed up the map and packed my belongings for the trip. I even picked out a few formal outfits of both female and male. I had no idea what that wedding would be like. Mei also picked up a few different for her self and off we went.

After a week into the trip, we were getting close to the location the map showed. Expect, I could feel a blizzard coming. So Mei and I got inside of a cave and waited out the blizzard.

The blizzard lasted for 3 days until it finally cleared up. I carved out the hole and out we went into the white wasteland.

Expect, I noticed footsteps in the snow. The fuck?

I never felt anyone's presence.

I knitted my brows. I didn't want to go the same way as the footprints, but I didn't really see a choice. The map said it was in the same direction.

I immediately put up my guard and Mei and I continued forward. We traveled another 3 days and we finally hit the area the map stopped giving directions on. Expect I realized why.

In front of us was a whole ass jungle.

Mei and I stood on a hill we just crossed and sat down.

"What the fuck." Why couldn't it be easy? Then again, nothing in my life was ever easy.

"Seems interesting," Mei said with a smile.

This woman loved seeing the good side of everything.

I slapped my hands together.

"Okay, let's go," I said.

And, off we went towards the very large looking jungle surrounded by a very vast snowy tundra.

Once we reached the jungle, there seemed to be a barrier. I knitted my brows. I have a bad feeling about this, but I also promised Xiong HoLing.

I also seriously doubted he would send me into this place without giving me a warning. He must think I can get through it just fine.

"Okay, Mei. Let's go." I stepped forward and immediately entered through. Immediately the temperature change made my body tense up. It was humid and hot.

I immediately sent my coat into my space along with Mei's.

I also changed into some tight pants and a tank top from the modern era. I gave Mei the same outfit.

"Kobe, I don't know if I can wear something so..." She pursed her lips.

"What? Afraid you'll lose your reputation?" I said with a smirk.

Her mouth twitched.

"That's a low blow, Kobe. Give me the outfit." She grabbed it and put it on.

Afterward, we entered the Jungle. The trees swayed and I heard the sounds of insects and animals but I saw none.

I hummed. This...

Fairy? No...the Queen blessed me. She wouldn't try to fool me. So...what was this? It felt real in every sense. Expect I couldn't figure out some of the aspects of it. Some of it just seemed...off.

I was walking when I heard Mei grab something. I looked over and saw her reach for a large thorn. The fuck?

I grabbed her wrist and noticed her glazed-over eyes. Why is she?

Wait.

I reached in my space and took out some dust and put it in her face. She breathed it in and immediately came out of it. Seemed this Jungle had some special properties.

It was probably set up by fairy's a long time ago. This made the most sense. In any case, the dust wouldn't last long if we had to sniff it. We'd better hurry and find this Ivory Meadow.

We kept forward and shortly after, I realized why it was called Ivory Meadows.
