11. Pain and Comfort ~

Y/n's pov:
It's the day before the gala and I have a detention with Umbridge. I had plans to hang out with the girls, the twins and Lee at Hogsmeade but Umbridge passed me this morning, reminding me of the detention at 8pm

The group was gonna reschedule and go another day but I insisted they go without me as I wouldn't want them missing out on it just for me

Fred didn't want to go after I told them but after a few minutes of me persuading him , he reluctantly agrees to go

We're currently at breakfast, the group discussing what they wanna do at hogsmeade while I read a book

"Y/n do you want anything from hogsmeade?" Katie asks, grabbing my attention

"It's okay, I don't want anything" I say while still reading the paragraph in my book

"You sure you don't want anything? I can buy it for you" Fred offers but I decline, not wanting to use his money

He pulls me into his side, making me lean onto his shoulder as I see in the corner of my eye, him reading the book as well

I move the book over so we can both read it while Fred finishes his breakfast

He looks over to my plate, noticing it has been untouched

"Aren't you gonna eat something?" He asks

"Nah I'm not that hungry" I say as I flip the page

Midway of me reading the book, it gets snatched out of my hands making me look to who took it

"Fred what the heck?" I say as I try to grab the book, but failing as he keeps it tucked into his side

"First you are going to eat, then you can have the book" He sternly tells me as he puts some eggs and bacon onto my plate

"But I told you I'm not hungry Fred" I say in a slightly annoyed tone

"And I told you, you won't be getting the book back until you eat" He says as he gets some eggs on a fork and moves it towards my mouth

I give him an annoyed look before chewing down on the eggs

"Aw look at you two, already looking like a couple" Lee teases us as he coos jokingly

I roll my eyes and continue to eat the eggs

After being forced by Fred to eat, he finally gives me the book in which I snatch off of his hands making his offended by my actions

He placed his head on the table with his hands underneath while looking at me with a sad pout, trying to get my attention

I ignore him which makes him start to poke me in the side, trying to get my attention once more

Getting fed up with the poking, I smack his hands which he takes away, rubbing over the spot

I continue to read as he gets into my line of view, pouting even more which makes my face soften

"What do you want Fred?" I say as I look to him

"I want you to talk to me, and apologise to my hand for hurting it so offensively" He says

"Well I'm talking to you right now and there's no way I'm apologising to a hand" I say as I turn to my book

"But y/nnnn it really hurts" he says sticking his bottom lip out slightly

"If it hurts so much, get George or Lee to kiss it" I say, shaking my head at his childish behaviour

"Can you kiss it for me, it'll only get better if you do it" He says with a childish smile
