It was a Thursday night Meredith was at her house and I had to stay the night at the hospital for a patient. "Hey doctor Webber can I talk to you for a minute." I said to Richard as he walked by me. "Sure cormac what's up?" He says crossing his arms. "Uhh I need to talk in private." I say. "Okay sure here we can go in the conference room." He says. I walk in and sit down at the table. "Okay so Meredith and I have been dating. I know you're not her dad but your the closest she has to one. So I was wondering not anytime soon but could I marry Meredith?" I say smiling really big Richard leans back and holds his arms. "Do you love her?" I asks. I love the relationship Richard and Meredith have. "I do. I love her." I say. "Did you tell her?" He says I become nervous. "Not yet, I wanted to talk to you first about marrying her." I say. "Hmm how are you going to ask her?" He said loosening his arms. "Well I know I want to say her full name. Do you know her middle name? And I definitely want to do it on the beach. I would want you there." I say smiling as I picture it in my head. He looks at me and chuckles. "She would absolutely love that. She never had a big wedding and I helped with her last proposal as well. Her middle name is Evangeline. I would love to be there." He says. "So do I have your blessing?" I ask. "Of course, you make her happy I haven't seen her this happy since Derek." He says I smile and we stand up at the same time. "Thank you doctor Webber." I say "Richard. You can call me Richard." He says "okay well thank you Richard." I say and we leave the room.

It had been about 3 and a half weeks since cormac and I got together. Cormac and the boys stayed the night at my house. "Good morning." He says in his morning voice. His morning voice is so sexy and cute. I roll over and snuggle into his chest. He wraps his arms around me. "Morning." I say. He smiles and kisses my forehead. I could not ask for anything better then this. "Are we going to get up today and go to work?" He says. "I need to but I'm so comfy and I really want to cuddle with you." I say. "Five more minutes how's that sound?" He says. "10?" I say he chuckles. "We'll be late." He says. "Fine, but I deserve a kiss." I say "that's fair." He says. He leans down and kisses me. Then we cuddle for 5 more minutes. "Okay it's time to get up babe." He says. I whine a little "I knoww but hey guess what after work we get to cuddle again."

We hear a knock on the door. Come in we say together. It was Austin. "Bye dad were going to school." He say "bye bud be good." Liam walk's in as he says that. "You two are very cute cuddling like that." Liam says. I giggle a little and Cormac says "uhh huh good bye boys. Be good love you." As he smiles. "Bye dad, bye Meredith. Have a good day." I smile "bye boys, be good. Hey Austin did you talk to that girl yet?" I ask before Austin leaves the room "no I think I'm going to ask her to the dance." He says. "Ooo I'm sure she'll love that." I say and Austin turns around. "Hey Meredith I know you and dad have only been dating for like a month but I was wondering..." he pauses and looks down "what's up Austin?" I ask. "I was wondering if I could call you mom?" He says "it's fine if you don't want me too but your like the only other mother figure I have after mom and I don't really remember her and I haven't called someone mom in a while..." he was rambling. I look up at Cormac as Austin just keeps explaining himself. Cormac shrugs. I smile. "Austin, Austin slow down." I say chuckling. Liam walk's back in "can I too?" He say as his face lights up with excitement. "You both can call me mom. I am fine with that." I say. Cormac hugs me as a tear rolls down his eye. "But that means you have to listen to. You are both going to be late if you don't get out of here. Good bye have a good day." I say. "Bye mom." They say and walk out. I wait to hear the door close and then I look up to Cormac. "Are you okay?" I ask. "Yes." He says. "Cory." I say because he obviously was not okay. "What?" He says as he kisses my forehead. "What's wrong?" I ask "nothing I- I- I just love how you're so kind to the boys." He says I smile and then we get up throw on scrubs and run out the door. I get a call from Austin but miss it and he calls again he seems very upset he's yelling and I can tell he's crying.

Okay so this is a short chapter but it was cute. I might post another one today but I'm not sure. There are details in this chapter that will continue to come up. How do we feel about the boys??
