"I- yeah- yes I think I am." I say "congratulations" Linda replies. I smile and say "thank you." Then I look back up at Cory who is now listening to the babies heart. I get paged to OR 2 Linda looks at me because she hears it. "I have to go , have a good day Linda and congratulations on Luca he's beautiful." I say. "Thank you doctor grey congratulations to you too." She replies. "You can call me Meredith." I say and run off. I told a complete stranger my news before I told anyone else. Is that messed up? I mean what was I going to do lie? She could tell, it's obvious I don't know how other people can't tell. I get off the elevator and start to run to OR 2 but I stop before I get there, I walk up to a trash can and puke into it again. Teddy is right there "oh my god, Meredith are you okay?" She asks concerned. "Yes I'm fine." I say still standing by the trash my pager goes off again. Shit. "You can't scrub in, you're sick." Teddy reminds me. "Teddy I'm not sick." I say. "Meredith you just threw up in a trash can, I think you very much are sick." Teddy replies. "Teddy mind your business. I'm not sick." I say as I walk into the scrub room.

The boys were getting out of school in about one hour so I start to get ready to leave and pick them up. I leave Meredith a note in her locker area then I leave. I get to the boys school go in to the secretary and ask her to dismiss them. "Dad why did you get us early?" Liam asked me. "Yeah." Austin follows. "Lads were going to talk about that soon but let's wait till we get to the park." I respond. I was taking the boys to the park because we used to go on walks in the park with their mom. We get there and we all get out. I have the ring in my pocket but I don't take it out. "How was school?" I ask looking down as I walk. "Good." They both say. "That's good. Austin how is Avery?" I ask. Avery was his girlfriend, the one he asked to the dance. "She's good." He replies. We keep walking looking around it's kind of silent. "Here let's take a seat at the picnic table." I say and point at the one to our left the boys sit down both on the same side and I sit across from them so I can see their faces. "You boys know I really like Meredith." I say the boys shake their heads. "Okay you guys and her kids seem to get along really well." The boys shake their heads again, "yeah I love Ellis Shes so cute." Austin says I smile "she is pretty cute." I respond. "You guys seem to like Meredith, am I right?" I ask. They shake their heads "dad I call her mom, I wouldn't call her mom unless I liked her." Liam continues. I chuckle. "Meredith isn't trying to replace your mom and she never will. I love Meredith but I will always love mom." I say they look confused now. I pull the ring out of my pocket but hold it under the table. "Lads would you be okay with Meredith and I getting married?" They look at each other then at me and then smile a little "dad? You got us out of school early, to tell us you're asking mom to marry you?" Austin says. I look at him they could tell I was worried and maybe even a little scared. "I thought everyone already knew you too were going to get married?" Liam asks almost confused. "I've been waiting for him to ask her." Austin replies. Liam laughs "me too."  Liam responds. "Wait, let me get this straight. You want me to marry her?" I ask confusion takes over my body and my hands are in the air. "Dad I want you guys to have a kid. Yeah, I want you to get married." Austin says. "I'll be the best man." Liam says. They have thought about this already? "What? You boys have already thought of us being one big family?" I question. "Yes dad." Austin says a little annoyed now. "Ooo let me see the ring." He follows. "Oh here don't drop it or touch it." I put the ring box on the table and they just look at the box. "What are you doing?" I say. "You said don't touch so I'm looking at it. I can't open it if I can't touch it." Liam responds "Oh my god lads I meant don't touch the ring itself, I don't want it to get dirty." I reply as Austin opens it. "Shit dad I can't afford to even think about this ring." He said "yeah no shit." Liam follows "language!" I raise my voice but I'm not fully yelling. "You lads are fine. You think she'll like it?" I ask on the edge of my seat. "Definitely." Austin shakes his head. "No, she'll hate it. She's going to say it's too much. 'You spent way too much money on me.' Or 'oh cormac! You shouldn't have gotten a ring this big.' But she will say yes. There's no way she won't." Liam replies. I was mad at him for mocking Meredith but it was true she probably would say those things. I smiled "good. Okay you cannot say anything to anyone until after I propose, promise?" I told the boys. "Dad considering I already thought about all of this and kept it a secret I think were safe." Austin say. I laugh. "For real." Liam replies. We get up and start to walk back to the car "okay real talk though, do not ever do that again I thought Meredith died." Liam says laughing a little. "Yeah for real I was scared, I was thinking I can't handle loosing the only two and best two moms in my life." Austin laughs. "Yes oh my god my heart started racing I was like are you kidding me?" They are both laughing and I smile at the fact that Austin called Meredith his mom and one of the best. The boys truly did love her. "You thought I was talking about how much I loved her and the kids and then was going to say oh she's dead?" I ask shocked. Now we all are laughing. My phone goes off right as we get back to the car I stop and look at it.

I got cormacs note, I read it again and again just because I wanted a hug from him.

Dear Mer,
I got the boys early from school so we could just hang out and so I could talk with them. I love you so much. I'll get all the kids and dinner. I'll be home around 5. Be safe. I saw you looking at my in the nursery, you were being really cute. Ti amo, bellezza.

He was so cute leaving me notes. I have kept every note he has given me which is like 2 but I have them in a shoe box under my bed. The end of his last note said "I love you beautiful." I decided I wasn't going to say anything about what I thought was going with me. I was at least going to wait until after vacation because if what I thought was happening was really happening I didn't want to get Cormac's hopes up. I got home and started packing. I packed Zola and Ellis's bags then Bailey's and then mine. I packed us each 4 bathing suits because Cormac said we are going to the beach. I was excited. I heard the door open down stairs so I went to the top and saw cormac. Then all 5 kids came running in and went right up the stairs. My 3 kids hugged me and then Austin walked over and hugged me too. "How was everyone's day?" I asked. Zola, and Ellis said "good" as they ran into the play room. Bailey says "okay. As he walks into his room. "Fine." Liam called. "Ahh" Cormac yells. "Sorry, my day was okay." Liam corrected himself. Cory Hayes the word fine he said it's what you say when you're hurt but don't want anyone to know. "Liam Anthony Hayes." He yelled. I've never heard him speak the way he did. To be honest I was scared, Liam walk's up and stands next to me. "Outside now, I'll be there in a minute." Cory firmly states. "But-" Liam protests. "Now." Cormac says. Liam walk's down stairs throwing his hands in the air. "Phone." Cormac crosses his legs and leans on the wall, putting his hand out flat. "Dad!" Liam yells. "Want me to take the tv too?" Cormac responds. Liam slams his phone on his dad hand. Cormac grips is phone and slide it into his pocket. He opens the door not making eye contact with Liam and then closes it once Liam is outside. "Hi." He says looking up at me. "That was extremely hot." I reply walking down the stairs. He chuckles, then walks over and picks me up. I wrap my legs around his hips. He's looking in my eyes. "I love you." He says. I giggle as he spins. "I love you too." I reply. He kisses me. Then puts me down and kisses me once more. "I packed all my stuff and my kids stuff for this weekend." I say. "Okay good. I'm going to go talk to Liam and then I'm going to come pack." He replies. I smiles and hug him for more then a minute. We are just standing there hugging. "K I need to go talk to Liam." He says. "But I just want to hug you." I reply. "I know." He kisses my forehead. He walks out the of the door and I go in the kitchen.

I walk outside and see Liam sitting in the porch swing. "Hey, bud." I say softly. "Don't hey bud me. You just screamed at me." I sit down next to him. I can tell something isn't right. Originally I didn't want to take his phone I just wanted to talk one on one just him and me. "What is wrong." I ask. He looks up at me and he is crying. "I miss mom, I know Meredith is mom too but I miss my real mom. I'm sorry for having an attitude." Liam replies. "That's okay Liam. I think you should try to bond with Meredith. You and her get along but you're distant." I reply. "I love her dad, it- it just it's hard because she reminds me of mom sometimes." Liam says I hug him. "I know bud, I know." A car pulls into the drive way. It's a black car I've never seen. A guy gets out with a black mask on that covers his whole face. The guys is dressed in all black. "Oh hi, Cormac." Say the voice. Who the fuck is this guy? I hold Liam closer to me. Then stand up still holding him. I walk over to the door open it and push Liam inside. "Do I know you?" I ask. The guy laughs. "More than you think." He says maliciously.
