Cormac Oliver Hayes

Cormac was kneeling in the sand hugging Ellis. I felt a little flutter in my stomach. I was eleven weeks pregnant but I told absolutely no one. I had planned to tell cormac today but didn't have the time. As I felt the flutter in my stomach I but my hand on it, out of instinct. "N-n-no way" cormac says. Ellis runs to Austin who is walking in the beach. Amelia and Maggie walk over so cormac stands up and drops the subject. "Hey guys." I say. "Hey Mer." They both reply. We all walk over to see the kids better. Austin is holding Ellis, and is walking with his feet in the water with Zola. Bailey and Liam are by the rocks looking for crabs I think. Cormac wraps his arm around me. "Thank you." I whisper. "You're welcome." He says back. He takes his arm off of me I turn to look at him. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a black box. He holds it flat on the palm of his hand. I smile, "what is that?" I ask. Cormac smiles. "Open it." He replies. I take the box "mom." Austin calls. "Hold on bud" I reply.  I open the box to see a beautiful silver bracelet it has small circle diamonds all around it but in the middle is a teardrop diamond "cormac Oliver Hayes!" I say loudly. "Hm?" He hums in response. "This is beautiful, thank you!" I say. "Do you like it?" He asks. "I love it. I love you." I reply. I definitely want to marry him, I was unsure earlier but I love him I really do. He leans to kiss me and I kiss him back. "I love you too." He says. We watch the kids for a little bit longer and I feel a flutter again. I was eleven weeks pregnant so the baby shouldn't be moving. I was scared and worried. I place my hand on my stomach again and the flutter almost instantly goes away. What is this? I walk inside and go to the bathroom just to make sure there's no blood. We were on a long plane ride and it was stressful. I see no blood. Maybe I'm longer along then I thought. I need support but I haven't told anyone. Cormac walks in the house "Meredith? Where did you go?" He calls. I walk out of the bathroom. "Cory." I call back. "Come to the kitchen." I say. He walks in I'm standing there in a dress. It was a flowy sundress I changed out of my leggings because it was hot. "Hi." Cormac says placing his hands on my hips. I love when he does that. "Hi." I say. He looks at my eyes then my lips and then my eyes again. He pulls me close and kisses me. The kiss becomes more passionate. I pull away. "I need to talk to you." I say. "Okay about what?" He asks. "Sit down." I respond he looks scared. He raises an eyebrow and takes a step back keeping his hands on my hips. I grabs his hands in mine. "It's good I just want you to sit." I say trying to calm him. I smile because I can't help it, it's a natural reflex. He smiles back and nods. He pulls out a chair for me to sit in and then sits down himself. "Cory I don't want you to freak out. I want this. We need to talk about it but I want it and I want you." I say. He reaches for my hands and nods his head. "Okay, what's up?" He questions. "I'm- im-" I stutter. He smiles at the same time as me. "I'm pregnant Cory. Eleven weeks. I think." I say he stands up so I do too. "What?" He asks. I take a deep breath "I'm preg-" before I finish my sentence he picks me up and spins us in circles. "Yes yes yes yes yes." He yells. I laugh. "I'm so excited." He puts me down, kneels down and kisses my stomach. I practically melt, he was so damn cute. He kisses my stomach once more and then hugs me as if he's hugging the baby. "Who knows?" He asks standing up. "You." I say. He kisses me. "Can we go tell everyone?" He asks excitedly. "We can tell Richard, Maggie, and Amelia. I don't want to tell the kids yet." I reply. "Deal." He says grabbing my hand running out of the house to find them.

Meredith told me she was pregnant and I was so excited. I grabbed Meredith's hand and ran out side. We get to the door and I slow down so the kids don't see our excitement. Richard is in his house but Amelia and Maggie are sitting on the sand in the sun. "Mags, meals, come here." I say holding Meredith's hand. They get up and start to walk Over to us. "Can I tell them?" I ask Meredith as I look at her. "Yes" she says smiling. "Hey cor what's up?" Maggie says. I smile really big. I was so excited I wanted to scream. "What's up?" Amelia says. I take a deep breath "I'm a going to be a dad." I say fast because I was excited. "Well yeah... you're kids are right there." Amelia says. Maggie's jaw drops. Meredith giggles and places her hand on her stomach. I was confused because Meredith shouldn't feel anything yet the baby would still be a bubble. "No Amelia. If I'm understanding this correctly." Maggie says. "I am going to be a dad." I say again interrupting Maggie. "You are?" Amelia says. She doesn't understand what I'm saying. "Shut up." Maggie says putting her hand over her mouth. Meredith giggles again. "What? I'm so confused." Amelia replies. I turn towards Meredith more putting my hand on hers which was still on her stomach. "Amelia I'm going to be a dad." I say. "Shut up. Shut up. Shut up." Maggie yells. "Shhhhhhh" Meredith says putting her finger to her own lips. "You're kidding." Amelia says. "No, I'm- we're not." I say. "Mer.." Amelia asks. She needed to hear it from her. "I'm eleven weeks pregnant." Meredith says. Amelia just kind of looks at us. "Congratulations!" She says finally. Maggie was crying. "Oh my god mer! Congratulations!" She says. "Thank you don't tell anyone. I haven't told the kids." Meredith replies. "Okay. Cor can I talk to you?" Maggie asks. I nod kiss Meredith and then walk over to where Maggie was. "What's up?" I ask. "Are you still proposing?" She asks. I smile. "Yes, a baby just makes me love her more." I reply Maggie smiles and then hugs me. "Okay." She responds.

I saw Maggie hugging cormac which I thought was weird but I brushed it off. I was still feeling flutters in my stomach but didn't think much of it. "Can we tell Richard?" Cormac say walking up behind me. "I want Richard to be in this baby's life more... like a grandfather? I guess." I reply Cormac hugs me rubbing his hands on my hips and reaching around to my stomach. "I want to tell him with a gift in a cute way. I never really did that with the other kids." I continue. Cormac kisses my neck which seems to be his favorite thing to do. "Okay." He says in a I need more information tone "let's go to the store we can tell him today and we can tell the kids when I hit twelve weeks." I suggest. "Okay let's go right now." Cormac says. I turn around to see his face. "Really?" I ask surprised. "Yes, let's go your sisters are here and I trust Austin alone.." Cormac states. "Okay." I reply. "Maggie." I call. "Yeah?" Maggie asks from the other side of the beach. "I'm running to the store will you watch the kids?" I call back. "Of course." She replies. We get into the black Range Rover we rented. We drive to a grocery store first, to get some food and drinks for the week. We then drive to the nearest drug store I went in to get a pregnancy test I also got a gift box, the gift box was square and was black. What can I say I'm twisty. I leave the store and go to back to the car. "Black? Really, you had to do black you couldn't have gone with like blue or something?" Cormac says. "Listen I didn't want to do a color that could be associated with a gender." I reply. "Okay good point. Where are we going next?" He asks. "Baby store? For a onesie that says like grandfather or something?" I ask Cormac smiles and nods them starts driving. We pull up to a target. We go in and go right to the baby stuff. We find a onesie that says 'loading' and one that says 'surprise grandpa' we got both and pacifiers. We pay then go back to the car. I take the tags off the onesies and place them in the box so you can see what they say. I place the pacifiers on the side and then the positive pregnancy test in the box. "Ready?" Cormac asks. "Yes." I say back. We drive back to the house and go inside ours. Everyone is there, all 5 of the kids, Richard, Amelia, and Maggie. "Richard can Cormac and I talk to you outside please?" I ask. He smiles "sure." Cormac spins on his heels to turn around. He opens the door and we walk out. We walk around the house to the beach. Cormac gets the box from the car. "Cormac and I have something we want to give you." I say "if you don't want it or feel like it's too much just say so." Cormac adds "okay." Richard responds Amelia walks out the back door by herself recoding us. Cormac hands Richard the box and then hugs me from behind. Richard takes the box and starts to open it. I'm terrified I don't know why but I'm scared. He opens the box all the way and freezes. Cormac puts his hands on my stomach. Richard looks up at me and Cormac and then back down at the gift. He takes the onesie out of the box the one that says 'surprise grandpa' and he holds it up. "Are you serious?" He says. I can tell Cormac is scared. "Sir, if you don't." Why the fuck did he just call Richard sir? "If you don't want to be that's fine. I'm sorry we aren't married before and I-" Richard cuts Cormac off. "Cormac Oliver Hayes." Richard says almost yelling.
