Austin calls me right as cormac and I walk into the hospital. Austin is freaking out. He is crying and I hear people screaming in the background. "Austin! Austin! What is going on?" I say and Cormac stops walking. "There's a shooter." He says and I freeze. "What?" I say cormac takes a step closer to me. "There's a shooter at school and Liam got shot in the shoulder." He says I look at Hayes as he drops is his bag and starts to run to the car. I grab his hand. "No." I yell "my son got shot I'm not just going to stand here." He says. "Austin?" I say making sure he's still in the phone. "Mom? Hi don't come to the school the teachers said to tell you not to come. I'm pressing really hard on his shoulder he has a pulse and I don't know what to do." He says. "Okay, it's okay take a deep breath. Austin stay calm." I say. I look at cormac not knowing what to do. "Mom?" Austin say very panicy "yes." I respond. "Zola got shot." Austin says and I fall to the ground, dropping my phone.

"We have a black male GSW to the shoulder looks about 16" Vic says as she rolls Liam in to trauma 1. "10 year old black female GSW to the abdomen code en rout." Says a man I've never seen before. Austin gets out of the rig covered in blood and just falls into my arms. I didn't care that he was completely tuning my clothes the only thing that matters is that he is okay. "Mom." He says crying "shhh your okay. There okay." I say hugging him back. "Do you know him ma'am?" Says the man rolling zola into the hospital. "No I just hug random teenage boys who call me mom." I say pissed off. Bailey is standing in the door way as we all walk in. Bailey almost starts crying. "Zola baby mommy's right here, you're going to be okay we got you." I say. "Grey you can't work on family." Bailey says. She knew I was pissed off and that she probably should have reminded me but she did anyway. "Is Zola going to be okay?" Austin says. "Of course I'm going to get her back to new I promise." Bailey says "shut up. Shut up Bailey. You can't promise anything because you don't know." I say. Richard walk's in "okay come on Meredith. He says grabbing my shoulder. Austin bud let's go." He say grabbing his too. Zola and Liam get rushed to OR 1 and 2.

"Here Austin, put these on so you're not sitting in blood." Richard said. I'm crying and Austin looks terrified. Austin takes the clothes from Richard and walk's into the boys bathroom to change. "I need scrubs." I say to Richard. "Okay I'll get you some." He walk's back with pick scrubs. "Thank you." I say. "You're welcome. I'll be right here when your done changing." He replies. Richard was a good guy. He was my only father figure. I come back from changing to see Richard standing there hugging Austin who is hysterically crying. I pull myself together and walk over to them. "Hey buddy." I say soft so it doesn't scare Austin. But he doesn't respond. So I just sit down. I take out my phone to call cormac. I need to know if he's ok and where he is. It rings once "hey." I hear his voice and visually calm down. "Hey." I say back. "I need a hug." He says. I smile a little "me too." I say. "My office?" We weren't really speaking in full sentences but we understood each other. "In 2" I say and then I hang up. "I need to go do something real quick." I say to Richard he nods still holding Austin. I walk over and put my hand on Austin's shoulder. "You okay bud?" I say he just nods still hugging Richard. "Ok" I say very very softly and I walk away. I'm in Cormac's office looking out the window. It was cloudy and raining. Cormac walk's up behind me and hugs me. "Hey." He whispers in my era and kisses my neck. "Hi" I turn around and hug him, tight. We stand there hugging for like five minutes. "I'm worried about them." I say. "I know I am too." Cormac replies. "Move in with me." I say still hugging him. "What?" He says shocked. "Move in with me. You the boys. Move in." I say.

CORMAC'S POV/:/:/:

I heard Meredith but I couldn't believe what she just said. Of course I want to move in with her but she said she wanted to take it slow. "I mean unless you don't want to which would be completely fine but I really want you to I want to wake up next to you every morning and go to bed next to you every night and if we have babies I want them to us I want us to be in the same house and.." Meredith says rambling. I pick her up her legs wrap around me and I spin her around. "Yes yes yes!! I will move in with you of course." I say and then I kiss her. "Ahhh okay!!!" Meredith says. I put her down and look in her eyes. "I have a surprise for you soon." I say. But before I can give her anymore details she gets paged 911 to OR 1. "That's where Liam is." I say as she runs out of the room. Two seconds later I'm getting paged to OR 2 "Zola!" I sprint to the elevator but it's taking to long so I run up the stairs to the OR.

Hey!! This chapter is kind of crazy. Deluca makes an appearance next chapter and it gets kind of scary. How do we feel about them moving in together and what is Cormac's surprise?
