I Have A Plan

Everything goes pitch black, and panic takes over my body. I instantly turn around to see Meredith. She is deathly afraid of planes and I knew that, I knew she was panicking too. "Breath, in-" I demonstrate a deep breath. "Out. In... out." She nods her head as she takes a deep breath with me. The plane shakes really bad. I get up which is very against the rules at the moment. I step into the row behind me where Ellis, Bailey, and Meredith are sitting. I pick Bailey up and sit him in my seat I put his seatbelt on and then I go sit in his seat. "Liam hold his hand, he's probably scared." I say as I buckle my seatbelt. Maggie, Amelia, and Richard are all on the plane but nowhere near us. Zola is sitting with Maggie because she asked to and we didn't have room with us. I'm sure she's fine but I can't help but worry. Meredith starts breathing heavy like she's scared or going to have a panic attack. I grab her hand and look at her. "Hey deep breath. You're okay were okay." I say. She just looks at me and shakes her head taking a deep breath "no, you can't promise that. We could die." She replies I don't say anything to that because honestly she's right, but it was just some turbulence. "Did you bring a dress like I told you too?" I say trying to change the subject. "Yes i brought two. The one that's white with the flowers on it. It's a V-neck tank top dress and flowy. It has the blue yellow and orange flowers on it. The other one is the one I wore at Alex's wedding in the pictures remember?" She asks. I smile and nod "the one you said was your favorite it's a tee-shirt dress and kind of crosses on my hip." She states. "I love that one. Okay I need you to wear either one on the second day. We're all going to a fancy restaurant and taking pictures on the beach." I reply I can tell I distracted her from thinking she was going to die because she wasn't as tense and she was smiling now. "Okay, what one do you want me to wear?" Meredith questions. "Which ever you like. But make sure it's one you really like." I say she smiles "okay." Ellis was sleeping in the seat next to me but woke up. "Daddy!" She says. "Hi baby." I say back. "Are we going to be there soon?" She asks. Meredith smiles looking at us. "Yes we will be there in like twenty minutes." I reply. She smiles and then looks out the window at the clouds. The turbulence seems to have stopped.

I love that cormac came over to help me. He was so good with the kids, and truly loved them. He made sure I was okay and then he kept having a conversation with Austin, Liam, and Bailey who were in front of us occasionally having a mini conversation with Ellis who was more worried about the clouds. The pilot came on the intercom telling us to stay buckled and seated because we were landing any minute. The plane begins to land and Ellis starts crying. Cormac knew it was very against the rules and even unsafe but he didn't care. He unbuckles her picks her up and holds her tight on his lap. She was crying because her ears hurt which was pretty normal on a flight. The plane finally lands all the way and Ellis is still crying. Cormac grabs his bag and pulls out a water bottle. He opens it and says "here take a drink it will help you're ears." Ellis takes a drink and calms down a little. "Look E, we're here! We got to the beach." Cormac says which completely made Ellis stop crying. He unbuckles himself and then we all stand up. He was carrying Ellis, Bailey was joking Liam's hand and Austin was walking in front of Cormac. I was at the end to make sure we had everyone and everything. We walk off the plane and enter the airport again waiting for Zola, Maggie, Amelia, and Richard. I leave the kids with Cormac so I can go get a drink and go to the bathroom.

Meredith walk's away I'm still holding Ellis but I put her down. I take the small box I've been holding onto out of my pocket because I wanted to take my hoodie off. I give it to Ellis to hold. She opens the box and is looking at the right. "Ellis close that please I don't want to loose it." I ask as I pull my hoodie off my head. I look over and see Maggie walking over with Zola, Richard and Amelia. I hang my hoodie over my suitcase and then I see Maggie quickly swipe the ring and throw it in her bag. "What?" I say and then she motions with her eyes over behind her. "Shit" I think to myself as I feel my jaw drop. She saw it. I want to cry because everything is ruined. Richard is just looking at me. Amelia is talking to Zola and the boys are laughing. I walk into the bathroom just to get away from the situation. Richard walks in behind me. "It's okay we don't even know if she saw it." He says. "Richard the box was open and she's just standing there looking at me. She saw it. She knows and everything is ruined. What am I going to do?" I reply. He just looks at me for a minute. My phone goes off and it's Maggie,
I don't think she saw it, she's talking to zo.

"Okay I have an idea." Richard says "but we have to act quick and quite." I nod "hit me." I say. He tells me his plan and I'm very impressed. This may work. He may have just saved my proposal. I text Maggie to tell her the plan and then I wait for a response.
