You were on your phone when you suddenly realized that it was your best friend and secret crush's birthday, Loki. You ran to the kitchen with the goal of baking a delicious cake. The great thing was that everyone except you was on a mission. You decided to make a chocolate cake, simple but good. Besides, everyone loves chocolate, right? (Tbh I personally don't hate it but let's just say that I can live without it, sorry to disappoint some of you lmao)

After 2 intense hours of baking and sweating, you finally finished the cake. It didn't look that bad, you honestly nailed it. Now it was time to decorate the Stark Tour. You climbed on a ladder and hung the decorations around the living room.

You sat on the couch. Loki never told people when his birthday was, you just figured by yourself, you were a SHIELD agent after all! Everyone at the tower agreed to surprise the god of mischief when they'll be back from the mission. You stood up and walked to your room and grabbed the present you bought, a beautiful golden and emerald green dagger. It reminded you of him, those stunning greenish eyes and the dagger's color were almost the same.

"Cake? Check.
Decorations? Check.
Present? Check.
Now all I need to do is take a shower, change those clothes and I'll be done !" You made your way to the bathroom and took a warm shower. You then put on a pair of black jeans with a green crop top and a black oversized blazer. (You can imagine anything else obviously.) You applied light makeup and went downstairs. It was now the stressful moment when you have to wait for everybody to arrive.

The sound of the opening door snapped (Thanos is that you ?) you out of your thoughts. Great, they're finally home. Since the Avengers already made clear that they had to wait for Loki to show up, the team hid in the kitchen, lights turned off. "Oh god, why am I so stressed about this ?" Tony whispered. "Well maybe because he literally can stab us if he doesn't like the surprise." The Russian assassin replied, making everyone laugh.

Loki finally arrived. He sighed and went into the kitchen. When he touched the switch light, everyone screamed. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY !" He had a shocked face and stopped, taking time to comprehend what happened. "How... How did you know?" His voice was low. You walked towards him, a big smile on your face. "Well, I know when your birthday is and I wanted to surprise you." I looked at him, waiting for an answer. "Y/n my dear, I don't know what to say... Thank you, thank you so much. This means a lot to me." He then pulled you into a warm embrace, putting his arms around your waist.

You giggled and placed a soft kiss on his cheek. "Now let's eat the cake! I spent time to bake it." You took his hand and guided him to the table so he could sit. Thor shoved a big piece of cake in his mouth, making Clint burst into a laugh. "What ?" He replied, genuinely concerned. Loki rolled his eyes and took a small bite of the dessert. "Mh... It's so good, Y/n you're the best." He quickly kissed your forehead.

Tony cleared his throat. "Now that you two stopped flirting, I think it's time for Reindeer Games to open his gifts." Loki opened his eyes wildly. "Wait... You bought something for me ?" You chuckled. "Yes, we did."

After opening all the presents, Loki looked at you, you didn't give him his gift yet. You slowly took his hand in yours, letting a confused face draw itself on the god's face. In your room, Loki sat on your bed. You opened your closet, took the small box, and handed it to the man. He tenderly smiled. "Open it !" You sat next to him, you were excited and kinda nervous. He delicately opened the black box, revealing the golden dagger. "Y/n... This is beautiful, thank you so much. Thank you for what you did today, I'm so glad to know you love..." He took your hand and placed a soft kiss on it.

You sighed in relief. "I'm happy that you like it." Loki suddenly cupped your face. "Darling I have to tell you something..." You put your hand on his. "I'm listening." Concern filled your voice. "I'm deeply in love with you, you're the best thing that ever happened to me. I don't deserve you, you're beautiful, smart, funny, caring... I just can't help but fall in love every single day. I had to tell you... Y/n, dear, do you feel the same way ?" He looked at you with teary eyes. "Loki... I love you too... I really do." You were so happy, you threw your arms around his neck.

Loki looked at you with love in the eyes. His gaze landed on your lips. You both leaned and closed the small gap between your faces. You shared a passionate kiss, it was amazing. Butterflies filled your stomach as your foreheads rested on each other's one. "Happy birthday Loki."
