Résumé: What happens when you meet Steve Rogers by accident?

      You were currently looking for a book in your favourite bookshop. Your fingertips were roaming the few novels sitting on the bookshelves.

You were about to take a book when a hand brushed yours. "Oh I'm sorry ma'am." You glanced to your left and laid your eyes on an attractive blond man, none other than Captain America.

You smiled at the handsome male. He took the book and handed it to you. "You saw it first." Said he. "I'm Steve Rogers." You chuckled. "I figured out. I'm y/n y/l/n, nice to meet you." You held your hand out.

Steve took it and placed a soft kiss on the top of it making you blush. "I didn't expect to see you Captain America here." You said grinning.

"Expect the unexpected." He replied smiling. "You know when I finish it I can give it to you." You said showing the book.

"If that means I'm gonna see you again then yes." The man smirked. "How about getting a coffee Mr. Rogers?" You asked. "I'll be pleased Ms. y/l/n." He replied with his deep silky voice.

"Let's go then." You retorted. "Oh wait I have to pay for that first, wait for me outside." You said. "Let me get it for you." He retorted. "You don't need to it's fine!" You replied with wide eyes.

"I insist." Retorted he. His piercing blue eyes locked with yours. It felt like time has stopped. You were too busy drowning into his ocean eyes to notice he took the book from your hand.

"Thank you." He said smirking as he walked towards the cashier. You opened your mouth in disbelief and started to chuckle at how he managed to subtilize the object.

After paying, the soldier opened the door for you. "Your mother raised a gentleman." You said smiling. "How could I not be a gentleman when I see such a charming woman like you?" He replied.

"You're leaving me speechless Rogers..." The blond man flashed you his pearly white teeth, sending butterflies in your stomach. He shoved his hands in his jean's pockets and you linked your arm with his.

"I know an amazing café not so far from here." Said he. "Then let's go." You replied. A few minutes later, the super soldier stopped in front of a coffee shop and you looked at him. "Is there something wrong?" He asked.

"This is my favourite café." You replied with a smile. "Looks like we have a common point." He retorted.

You entered the café, sat next to the window and Steve in front of you. A waitress passed by. "What can I do for this lovely couple?" She asked with a bright smile.

"Oh we're not together." You replied with red cheeks. "My apologizes. Can I take your order?" You nodded. "I'll take a vanilla cappuccino." You looked at Steve. "A black coffee for me." She smiled. "Got it."

"Sorry about that." Said Steve. "It's fine don't worry." You replied with a smile. "So um... Do you have a special someone in your life?" He asked rubbing the back of his neck.

You chuckled. "If I had one then I wouldn't be here Rogers. I'm still waiting for my other half." You retorted. Steve sighed in relief. "Well so am I. Maybe my half can fit yours?" He laughed. "Sorry that a terrible line."

"I heard better ones but that was cute. And you know, I wouldn't mind trying to see what our halves do together." You replied leaning in. Steve did the same and you were now only inches closer. His gaze flickered between your eyes and lips.

"Careful it's hot!" Said the waitress placing the cups in front of you. You backed away. Steve's cheeks turned crimson. "You look adorable when you blush." You said grinning. "You look adorable all the time." He replied smiling.

"It's crazy how we just met and I feel like I've known you my whole life." Said Steve mesmerized by you. "Do you believe in love at first sight?" You asked with a curious look.

"I think I do now."
