       You were walking in New York's busy streets with Howard by your side. "The weather is lovely today." You said smiling. "Indeed, but not as lovely as you." Replied the brunette making you smirk.

"Well, thank you." You said with a smile. "Oh wait, I need to buy something here, I'll join you at the Parc." Said your friend entering a shop.

You nodded and continued to walk. Arriving at the final destination, you passed in front of a group of men. Some of them started to wolf whistle and you looked at them.

"What's a pretty gal like you doin' here all alone? We can take care of you baby." Said a badly shaved man.

You internally cringed and lifted your eyebrow. "I beg your pardon?" You replied. "Oh come on, don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about." Retorted another guy.

"I'm sure you need a man like me in your life. I'll make you happy and so can he." Said the blond man pointing at his pants with a perverted smile.

"Listen up boy, I don't need a man to be happy. Stop being pathetic and for heaven's sake do not treat women like that." You replied.

"I'm a grown-up man sweetheart, I ain't no boy." Retorted he. "Then act like one." You deadpanned. "Also, please shave your beard it's disgusting you have crumbs in it."

You started to walk away when someone firmly grabbed your arm. "Not so fast doll, who do you think you are huh? Let me teach you a lesson."

You elbowed him and punched him in the guts, making him cry in pain. Blowing a piece of hair out of your face, you looked at the man, now on the floor.

"I'm waiting." You said crossing your arms. "That's what I thought." You retorted.

Soon after that, Howard ran towards you. "Sorry, I'm here." He said out of breath. "Wait, why is there a man laying on the floor next to you?" Asked he.

"Oh him? Don't bother he's fine." You replied. The brunette chuckled but his smile faded.

"He catcalled you didn't he?" You sighed and nodded. "I'm used to it." You retorted. He noticed the slight hand mark on your arm and tightened his jaw.

"He touched you?" He asked in a serious tone. "Don't worry it's fine, I'm good! The bruise is gonna leave tomorrow."

Howard didn't let you finish when he walked towards the man. "Hey mate, need a little help?" He asked as he helped him get up.

"Thanks, man, this crazy chick just punch-" His sentence got cut off by Howard's fist against his jaw.

"Lay one single finger on her again and you're a dead man." Said Stark. "One more thing. Respect women you asshole."

Howard came back to you with an angry face. You gently took his hand in yours. "Hey, look at me it's fine, you didn't have to do that."

"He touched you, he crossed the line. I swear if someone does something bad to you I'm gonna-"

You pressed your lips against his to shut him up. Howard placed his hand on your waist as your hands tangled themselves in his hair.

You pulled away breathless. "Are you calm now?" You asked with a smile. "Darling you can shut me up like this whenever you want..." Replied he.

"Anyway, let's start our little date now." He retorted smirking. "Oh, so it's a date now?" You asked with a smile.

"After that kiss, it has to be. What kind of friends kiss each other?" He retorted. "I kissed Peggy once and we're not together." You replied.

Howard's eyes widened and you burst out laughing. "I'm joking we never kissed. She's a beautiful woman though."

The brunette stepped closer to you and glanced at your lips. "I love you." You smiled and leaned in. "I love you too, dumbass."

You sealed your lips together, sharing a meaningful and passionate kiss. "Howard?" The man hummed in response.

"You're pretty hot when you're mad..."
