Your vision got blurry and you fell on the floor. The very last thing you saw was Bucky's teary face. After that, nothing. Everything became blank, empty, nothingness surrounded you.

Everything that happened felt like it was in slow motion. You saw a man aiming at Bucky. You couldn't let him get shot.

You ran towards the super soldier and pushed him to the side. You knew there was possibilities of you not surviving but it didn't matter, he was safe.

"Y/n!" Screamed Bucky. Your body collapsed on the floor. The brunette fell on his knees and picked up your fragile frame.

The three bullets wounds started to bleed, staining your suit.

"Why did you do that?!" You faintly smiled and cupped his face. "I could take a bullet for you, and I just did..."

After coughing blood, your eyes felt heavy. "No no no please stay with me doll I can't loose you, not now!"

"Thank you..." You said taking his hand in yours. "For what... I'm the one supposed to thank you." Said Bucky crying.

"Thank you for being with me..." Your vision got blurry and you fell on the floor. The very last thing you saw was Bucky's teary face. After that, nothing. Everything became blank, empty, nothingness surrounded you.

Bucky held your liveless body against his and his tears never stopped. His everything was now gone forever.

Okay no I'm joking don't hate me

"Someone call a fucking ambulance!" Yelled Bucky between cries. After a few moment, it finally came.

3 weeks later

Everyone was back at the compound, except for you of course. Steve and Bucky were talking in a hallway.

"It's all my fault, I should have seen it coming. She could die just because I didn't see this fucking gun!"

"Buck it's not your fault... She's gonna be fine she's a strong woman." Said Steve placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder.

Tears formed in Bucky's eyes. "I can't live without her... If she dies I didn't even get time to tell y/n I love her." Tears fell on his cheeks.

"Well now she does."

Bucky froze, hearing the voice he wanted to hear so badly for weeks. "Y- Y/n?" He turned around and saw you standing next to Nat.

He ran towards you and protectively cupped your face with his hands to spot any injury.

"I can't tell how much I missed you doll... Please don't do this again." Sobs escaped from his mouth.

"I'm not leaving okay? I'm right here." You said with a smile. Bucky wiped his tears away.

Suddenly, he crashed his lips again yours. The kiss was passionate and full of meanings.

You threw your hands around his neck while he placed his hand on the small of your back, carefully pulling you closer.

He needed to feel you. He needed to make sure you were here. He needed to hold you. He needed you.

You pulled away breathless. "I fucking love you y/n." You chuckled when you heard Steve mutter something, probably it being 'language'.

You pecked him on the lips. "I fucking love you too."
