It was a cold day at the Avenger tower. To be honest, you felt like you might have caught a cold, but that's fine right?

The elevator's door was about to close when the god of mischief came in your direction, making you stop the door.

" Thank you, darling. How are you today my dear Y/N?" the god softly spoke, looking at you in the eyes with his emerald orbs.

" Well I'm great and you? It Looks like you were about to get crushed by the elevator." You let out a small laugh. Loki faked a pouty face.

"As long as I'm with you I'm okay." You blushed at his words, it would be lying to say that you haven't developed a crush on the handsome trickster.

"So, which floor are you going to?" The tall man asked with his velvet voice.

"To the- " Suddenly, the elevator stopped and the lights shut down, living you two in the dark. " What's happening?" You said, slightly worried.

"I don't know, but I think we're gonna stay here for a while, given that the mortal who owns this place is not here and JARVIS isn't answering. We're stuck in an elevator." He looked at the AC and frowned a little. "Is there anything wrong other than us being stuck here?" You asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well I don't know how this happened but it looks like the AC is on the cold mode and I can't shut it down." He sighed. (A/N : I know that kinda makes no sense but let's not talk about that shall we ?)

"Do you think we'll get out of here in a long time?" you asked, then sneezed. Great, what a great place to be even sicker... " Bless you, dear." You smiled and sat down. "What should we do now?" You said as the god sat next to you.

"I know a way to be warmer and to kill time." Loki said with a smirk. You widened your eyes and he laughed. "I'm joking relax I won't do anything to you. Beside, if anybody touches you with bad intentions, I will personally make sure that it won't happen again." His face was now serious and he clenched his jaw. (A/N : overprotective Loki activated)

"Hey... Calm down okay?" You placed your hand on his shoulder and he seemed to be more relaxed. "Sorry darling, I'm just getting stressed by this situation." He sighed and looked down.

"Is the dangerous god scared ?" You said with a playful tone. He slightly laughed. " Well I'm kinda scared, but for you... It's getting colder and you're gonna get sick if that's not already the case." You bit your lips, how did he know?

"I'm fine don't worry about me." You tried to hide your sneeze but failed. "To me, you don't sound fine Y/N." He looked at you but you could barely see him due to the darkness of the small and cold place.

Time skip

Your shivers started to get more intense, and tiredness gained your body. "Darling, you should take my jacket." He took it off and placed it on your shoulders. You could smell his strong and pleasing scent now on you.

"Thank you... I don't know what I would do without you." You sneezed one more time. "When we get out of here you deserve a steaming tea Sunshine." Both of you chuckled and you yawned.

"Hey... Come here, darling." He scouted next to you and you rested your head in the crook of his neck, closing your eyes. He snaked his arm around your waist and slowly placed you on his lap.

"You should sleep if you want, time will pass faster." He was softly caressing your middle, drawing random patterns on it. "Loki ?" You almost whispered, getting sleepy.

"Mhm?"

"How are you not cold? I mean, I'm shivering and I have your jacket, you're not even wearing one." The man chuckled. "Darling I'm a frost giant, I don't get cold that easily."

"That makes sense now." You giggled. He placed a soft kiss on your forehead. "Sleep well love..."

Time skip

Tony finally managed to resolve the elevator's problem and when the doors opened, he saw you and Loki, peacefully sleeping on each other.

Loki heard Tony taking a picture and opened his eyes. "Stark! I swear to god I'm gonna kill you one day." Tony widened his eyes. "Shit I didn't know you weren't sleeping. Sorry ?" A smile appeared on his face.

"Whatever, just don't be loud, or else she's gonna wake up." Loki's facial expression softened as he saw your sleeping form. "Anyways, we're eating now, so if Prince Charming could awake The Sleeping Beauty that'll be great thank you." He winked and left.

The god carefully scooped you in his arms and headed to the living room, where everyone was now eating dinner. "Brother! Why don't you come next to me with Lady Y/N ?" Thor gestured to the empty seat next to him.

"I'm not hungry, I'll just stay with you. And for God's sake don't be that loud !" Loki made his way next to his brother. (He's my brother! He killed 80 people in two days. Adopted.) You were still sleeping in his arms so he slowly sat and placed you on his lap. You naturally rested your head in the crook of his neck, making him blush a little.

Natasha smirked. "Is Y/N just a friend for you? Admit it, you like her." She winked. "I... I don't know what makes you say that." He difficulty gulped. "Oh come on man! That's obvious !" Said Sam.

Loki sighed. "Fine, I love her, she's just... Amazing, kind, smart, incredibly beautiful..." His gaze was fixing his empty plate. Little did he know that you were actually awake when he started to speak.

You softly kissed his neck. "I love you too Loki..." You smiled and giggled at his red face. "I... You... You heard me ?"

"Mhm."

"Are you gonna kiss oooor ?" Said Clint, smirking; Loki looked at you, asking for consent and you nodded. His lips connected to yours and they moved in sync. It felt like fireworks. You got stopped by Peter's voice.

"Get a room you two !"
