-40's-

      "Ready boys?" You asked to your best friends Bucky and Steve. "Yes, let's go doll." Replied Bucky. He threw his arms around your and Steve's shoulders. Tonight was like every Fridays, going out.

"Try not to drink too much pal, I don't think your body can handle it." Said Bucky ruffling his skinny friend's hair. You chuckled and slapped his shoulder.

"Be nice, I don't think you should talk after what happened last week, want me to remind ya?" You retorted smirking.

Bucky groaned. "Okay okay you won doll, sorry Steve." Said James. The blond man smiled. You arrived at a small bar and opened the door, Bucky and Steve being hot on your tail.

You sat on a stool and the bartender smiled at you. "What's a pretty lady like you doin' all alone?" Said he leaning on the counter. "Actually I'm not alone. I'll have a martini please." You retorted.

"Alright ma'am." Your friends joined you a few minutes later. "Let me guess, a martini?" Asked Bucky. You smiled. "How did you know?" You retorted. "You always order this drink, I know you too much doll."

You took a sip of your drink and sighed in content. Suddenly, your favourite song came. You immediately looked at Bucky and got up. "This is my time to shine." You said as you ran to the dance floor.

James shook his head, chuckling. His gaze never left you, he was admiring you from afar as Steve patted his shoulder.

"You should go Buck, I'm sure she feels the same way." Said he. Bucky sighed. "I don't know pal, I just...For once I'm scared of making the first move." He looked down.

"If you don't do it now, someone else is gonna take your place and you'll regret it." Retorted Steve. You looked at your two friends and waved at Bucky in order to make him join you.

"See? She wants you to dance with her. Go, I'll watch her drink." Said Steve smiling. "Don't do anything stupid until I get back." Said Bucky getting up. "How can I? You're taking all the stupid with you." Retorted Steve grinning.

"Go get her jerk." Bucky laughed. "You're a punk." Retorted Barnes. You glanced at Bucky and smiled. "There you are! I thought you didn't want to dance with me." You said putting your hand on your heart.

"I would never do such thing doll." Replied the brunette man placing his right hand on your hip, taking your hand with his other one.

You rested your head on his chest and swayed to the rhythm of the music. You started to sing the lyrics and looked at Bucky.

"Kiss me once then kiss me twice then kiss me once again..." You said locking eyes with his deep blue ones.

His gaze switched between your eyes and your lips. "Is this supposed to be a hidden message?" He whispered while slowly leaning in. You smiled and nodded.

You stoop on your tip toes and connected your lips with his. You pulled away grinning and left another peck on his lips, already missing the contact.

"I could get used to that..." Said Bucky brushing a strand of hair out of your face. You glanced at Steve and walked towards him, holding hands with James.

"Told you pal." Said the blond man smirking.
