𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐒 𝐗 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑 ||

•"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐢𝐭!"

    You and Strange were staying at the Stark Tower for a few days. Given that the owner was a billionaire, each member had an assigned floor with everything they needed. However, since Stephen and you were partners he decided you two had to share a floor.

There was obviously separated bedrooms even if Tony liked to tease the sorcerer about how you would probably end up in the same bed. This situation wasn't a big change due to the fact that in the temple your rooms weren't too fare from each other.

One night, you heard a knock at your door. "Come in!" You said not leaving your gaze of your book. You recognized Stephen's chuckles. "Still reading aren't you?" Said he. "Indeed Sherlock Holmes."

He shook his head, smiling. "How can I help you?" You asked looking at him. You noticed one of his hand was hidden behind his back. "Are you hiding something from me Mister?"

"I don't know what you're talking about." Retorted he. The ex-doctor sat on the edge of the bed next to you. "Okay I lied, I have something for you." Said he. You raised a curious eyebrow and tilted your head.

This simple gesture made his heart melt. "Well I may or may not have a gift for you..." Replied Stephen. "Wait a gift? Why? I didn't do anything particular you don't have to!" You said. "Take this as an apologize for me being such an ass sometimes."

"I can be very stubborn and arrogant and I think you handle it pretty well actually." You chuckled. "Hell yes you are but who am I to judge? I tend to be a little bit sarcastic." You replied. He smiled and handed you a small box.

You opened it and it revealed a beautiful golden necklace. Your jaw fell. "I can't accept that! It's really pretty but-" You got cut off by the man. "Please, take it. It would make me happy." Retorted he.

You closed your eyes and chuckled. "I guess I have no choice then. Thank you very much Stephen, it's gorgeous." You said contemplating the jewellery. "Ca...Can I help you put it on?" Asked the sorcerer.

You thought for a second. "It can be practice so why not?" You replied handing him the necklace. With shaky hands, he pushed your hair on the side. "You know, even I struggle to put them on so it's okay if it takes time."

"Do you think I can do it..?" His voice was filled with worries. "I believe in you. One day you'll be able to do it." You replied softly. "Well I hope so my dear..." You blushed at his words.

The man sighed. After a few minutes of trying to clasp the necklace you heard a gasp. "What?!" You asked almost immediately. "I- I- I think I did it!" Replied Strange. You brought your hand to your neck and smiled widely.

Turning around, you jumped in his arms, taking him by surprise. "You did it!" After throwing your arms around his neck, you felt him snake his on your waist. "I'm so proud of you Stephen..." Tears pricked at the corner of his eyes.

"I haven't been able to do that in years." You pulled away and scanned his face. A tear escaped from his eye, contrasting with his relieved smile. You wiped his tear with your thumb, lingering on the area.

Without a warning, he picked you up and spun you around making you laugh. After putting you down, he kissed your forehead. "Thank you..." He pecked your cheek. "Thank you thank you thank you..."

He peppered your face with kisses. His actions flustered you. Stephen didn't let people see his true colours and acting like this towards you was a new thing. However, this made you realize how much he meant to you and therefore how much you loved him.

You always had a thing for the sassy sorcerer and this moment of bliss didn't helped at all. "I'm sorry I missed." Said he. "What-" Before you could finish your sentence, his surprisingly soft lips met yours.

Maybe you weren't the only one who had feelings for the other...
