       You were currently doing the dishes in the flat you shared with Steve. He went on his usual morning run with Sam so you decided to put some music on. You started to sway to the rhythm of 'just the two of us' when the door opened.

"Good morning sweetheart!" Said Steve while taking off his shoes. "Hi honey, had fun?" You asked. "Yup." He replied. Coming next to you, he kissed your cheek. "I'm gonna take a shower I'll be right back." He said.

A few moments later, he came back and chuckled, seeing you sing with a wooden spoon in hand. Snaking his arms around your waist he left a gentle kiss on your shoulder. "Nice shirt." Said Steve. You were wearing one of his huge shirt and a pair of short.

"Do you need help?" He asked in a sweet tone. "No don't worry I'm almost done." You answered smiling. The super soldier started to hum the song. You grinned when he started to slowly sway with you.

"Okay I'm done." You said. "Good." replied Steve. He took your hand and pulled you into the living room. "Since it's just the two of us, let's dance." Said he quoting the song. You smiled and placed your hand around his neck.

Wrapping his arms around your waist, Steve gently caressed your back by drawing small circles with his thumb. You rested your head on his toned chest and closed your eyes, enjoying his presence.

"I love you." You said. "I love you more." He replied. You looked up. "I don't think that's possible." You retorted. Steve leaned in and kissed your lips. "You have no idea of how much you make me happy y/n..."

You simply replied by cupping his face with your small hand and stroke his cheek. "How are you doing this?" He asked. You tilted your head in confusion. The super soldier chuckled. "How can I fall in love with you even more everyday..."

You felt your face burn and buried your head on his chest. "And how can you still make me blush after all those years?" You mumbled against his torso. "I guess that's my power." He replied laughing.

You heard the pitter patter of the rain against your windows and smiled. "It's raining..." You said. "Just like the day we met." Replied Steve chuckling at the memories. "Do you remember when we first met?" You said.

"Of course I do darling, how could I forget the day when I saw the love of my life?" Retorted the super soldier.

"It was raining and I saw the most incredibly beautiful woman I've ever seen standing in the street, not knowing what to do." Said he. You chuckled. "I had no umbrella and no coat!" You retorted. "That's why I ran towards you and offered you my coat and a hot coffee." Said he.

"When we got into the coffee shop, the music playing was 'just the two of us', how funny. I remember that the waitress kept hitting on you so I told her we were dating so she could leave you alone." You said smiling.

"Turns out we actually dated and fell in love...Am I right Miss Rogers?" Said Steve kissing your jaw. "Not so fast, we're not married yet Steven." You teased. "I can't wait for our wedding sweetheart."

"So do I..." You replied looking at your engagement ring. "So do I..."
