"You choose a cafe to meet me instead of a good restaurant." Arman...
Alia was blissfully lying down in her bed sleeping and unaware of the world. It was her favourite feeling in the world. A frown came upon her forehead as she heard her phone Viberate. She sighed harshly turned around and turned her phone off. She sighed and once again sleep started to seep in.
"What?!" She harshly hissed as her phone started to vibrate once again. In aggressiveness, she turned to see who was calling her in the middle of the night.
Armaan Answer | Decline
As much as she wanted to deny it, it would be better to accept it as even though it didn't make sense it could have been an emergency. But once again why would he call her if it was an emergency?
"Hello?" She whispered.
"Hey," he sounded breathless. Her eyes opened and she hoped that he had not called her for...
No please no.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
Biting her lip she glanced at the phone for the time and then spoke harshly, "what the hell am I supposed to at 11:55 p.m.?"
"Oh yes, that." He cleared his throat. "Well, I was well I was hoping you could do something for me."
She closed her eyes and prayed, please don't let this be a phone sex call. I swear to god I would kill him and record the conversation.
She glanced at the phone once more, I didn't expect you to be that guy. "What?" She barked at the phone, cursing him in her mind.
"Could you come out to your balcony?" He asked instead and she felt herself go stiff.
That was unexpected. But in the middle of the night?
"Uh..why?" She asked with hesitation clear in her voice.
He chuckled. "Just do."
"Okay," she took the quilt off and immediately shuddered hard. The cold of December had surely worsened and especially at night. Nevertheless, she got up and walked to the door, opening it as discreetly she could and closed it back.
"What?" She whispered as the door shut.
"Look in the front."
She did.
She gasped loudly at the sight that was next to her boyfriend. "Oh my God!" She cried. "Armaan that is so.." she shook her head having no words to even describe the feeling that she felt.
"So what?" He teased, his radiant smile visible to her from the first floor of the house.
"Beautiful, lovely..I-I don't know-" she sobbed. "It's so.."
"Hey, it's okay." He cooed. "You cannot come down though, can you?" He asked with a slight wince.
She sadly shook her head. "No, I cannot. We lock the main gate."
"Well, you don't have those electric gates do you?"
"Naah, we don't even have shredded pieces of glass over it." She laughed. "I can't believe that some people do and I don't see the logic there, oh my- Armaan!" She whispered yelled, keeping her voice in a check successfully.
Armaan had climbed up over her gate with a box in his hand and was walking towards her. The stairs to the first floor were from the outside and were almost adjacent to the balcony she had, so if the person wanted to climb her balcony they easily could.
He stood below her and held up the two boxes which she now noticed. She took them and stepped back as he climbed up the balcony and stood in front of her.
"Happy birthday baby. " He smiled and kissed her forehead.
She smiled but jumped as a dog barked. Looking around the surroundings she saw that there was no one up, but not to take any possible chances she took his hand and squatted down.
"Thank you." She giggled as they both sat crossed legged.
"Here," open up the first box in a small cake appeared which she found perfect as it was just two of them. It was a perfect size.
He lit a baby pink colour candle, the colour she liked and held the cake up in between them. "Make a wish."
Please let the happiness prevail. She blew the candle and made him too.
"Happy 18th birthday." He smiled and once more kissed her forehead. "I wish you every happiness in the world."
"Thank you." She said with a wide smile on her face and looked down as he passed the second box. "Open it."
With an excited smile on her face, she opened it with the most ungraceful manners one could have. She came across a small box and look at him once more, with an encouraging nod from his side to open It, she slowly lifted the lid and looked at him once more.
"Necklace with an infinity symbol?" She asked with curiosity written all over her face. "Yes, infinity. Infinity for us." He took her face in his hands, "do you want it?" She did. She honestly did because all she had ever experienced with Armaan was happy, blissful, and content experiences. Yes, she would accept for as long as their infinity would take them.
"I do." She smiled and answered. His expression turned more serious.
"The infinity for us? No matter what may the circumstances come, you promise to always stand by my side and never think of leaving me?"
"No, I won't." She said without giving a moment of thought to it. "I won't." She repeated once again giving him the assurance he needed.
He smiled. "Thank you." He leaned in closer and caught her lips in a short and quick kiss. Intimate and full of love.
Alia leaned back and glanced down at the infinity necklace which is gold in colour. Like the rest of the evening, this too was beautiful.
She smiled and looked up to thank him only to shutter out nothing. He held a small box in his hands and she knew what it was but not the answer to what it was going to be from her.
