"What the hell?" Alia yelled as soon as he pushed her inside and seated himself as well. She looked at at him with such anger that could've melted him way quicker than any dragon's flame.

He didn't answer her instead he calmly drove the car and stopped at a red light. She moved forward and waved her hand in front of him. "Hey, I'm talking to you!" She raised her voice a notch. Maybe he had a hearing problem.

"And I heard you," he said, without looking at her. "But I chose not to respond."

Alia felt warmth on her cheeks. She had never heard a so calm and savage reply from someone she didn't know. It was humiliating to say the least. She looked away, it was humiliating and could be more if he saw her cheeks red because of it.

Looking out she noticed that this wasn't the way to anywhere she knew. It wasn't home, it wasn't college so where was he taking her?

"Where are you taking me?" She asked again.

"Wait for the answer," he said. "Like I waited for a fucking hour outside your house."

Alia knew now why was he so calm and collected unlike the last time when his anger could be seen in his eyes.

"Look I had to go early-"

"To what? The food joints of sector 8?" He cut her off without raising his voice.

Alia gave up. Maybe he was taking to her for another coffee date and she prayed that it was that.

"Can you just tell me where are you taking me?" Whispers of those words left her mouth, she very politely asked him.

"I told you to listen to me. Defy or disobedience is another thing but trying to outsmart me is a completely different issue which is something you need to be wary off." He said, looking at her but no more than a glance.

"I didn't outsmart you, I merely-"

"Merely left the house early with the knowledge of me coming to pick you up." He cut her off again. It agitated her. He was so calm that she didn't know what to expect. "That is outsmarting me."

"Have water," he said giving her a bottle of water. Alia wasn't stupid. She sure took the bottle but first checked if the cap was screwed shut or opened before. On hearing the sound of a little craft crack she knew that it had not been opened before and she drank the water. She didn't know that she was so thirsty that nearly half of the bottle was finished in one go by her.

"There's a file back there." He pointed his finger to the back seat. "Fetch it for me."

Alia simply took it and held it out for him to take. Instead of taking it from her, he nodded his head to it. "Open it and read."

"That's it?" She made a sour face at that. "You are going to make me to your work?"

"Shut up and do as asked." He replied in a not so gentlemanly manner. He threw his manners out when she made a fool out of him.

"Okay, so it says—" She started as she opened the file.

"Silently please. It's for you to read." He chastised her patiently.

Clicking her tongue in annoyance, she open the file and saw some newspaper clippings. Silently she started reading it and felt herself a little scared. These were newspaper clippings, of acid attacks, rape, blackmailing and cyber bullying. She hurriedly flipped through them.

Alia did not say anything. She continued to read it without looking at him but her hands were shaking and Arman was aware of it.

Her breathing had quickened and Arman had noticed that as well. He was driving on an empty road so he took occasional glances at her. He did not expect her to remain calm, perhaps she was assessing the situation before her? But that, to Arman, seemed too intelligent for her to think of. When she didn't think of who she was messing with, then she definitely did not know any better way to react to this situation.

Maybe, her reaction was just delayed.

"Wha—why?" She stammered a little and closed the file.

And there it was. "Be more specific."

"Stop being a preacher! You know what I am talking about. Why are you showing me these cutouts?" Rasing them for him to see, she glared his way.

Arman parked the car and stood out of the car. Alia did not bother to remove her eyes from his back. He came to her side and forcefully dragged her out of her seat as she tried her best resist.

When he started walking, Alia noticed the house. "Let's sit and talk." He smiled her way.

Please tell me you guys liked the change! I felt that this would be more fun to read. The one before was where it fake recorded her.
