Alia was dragged by Arman inside the house where he had left her to sit at the couch and had disappeared somewhere. She was not sitting comfortably as she usually would, she sat there alert of the man who could pop out of anywhere especially when she did not know anything about the house.

Taking out her phone from her sling bag, she switched the screen on only to find that there was no signal. Going on WhatsApp she tried to send her location so that when network would be available it would be send location to her cousin as an SOS message.

Dammit, without the availablity of network or internet, Google would not pick up her location.

"Are you done?" He said waking past her.

"Ah!" Startled by the sudden intrusion, she jumped and looked at him. "What's your problem?"

"Nothing. Come on, let's eat." Taking her hand in his, he again dragged her with him. Alia let him, she was too tired to resist and waste more of her energy on it.

He pulled out a chair for her and then took a seat for himself. Alia looked around astonished as she saw the food laid on the table.

"What's all this?" She asked him. From cheesy fries to pizza and burgers to donuts and milkshakes, almost everything was there. He had arranged for everything that she was going to eat today.

"Why, food if course." He answered, with a stupid but handsome smile on his face. "You did not have to lie if you had already decided to go. I won't have come to begin with if you had informed me about your plans." He softly relayed the thoughts he had in mind.

"It does not matter to begin with," She scoffed. "You are not my friend, boyfriend or even my husband, so you have no right to pick me up when I have the facilities to travel alone."

"And if you didn't?" He challenged.

Alia stood up making her chair stumble back and fall, yet she gave it no mind. "Even if I did not, I would have a bus pass made or then the option of carpooling comes in." She said. Turning around, she started to walk away only to stumble on the chair. Alia unbalanced and fell trying to save her nose from breaking but fell on her arm instead, making her cry out in pain.

*********

"There you go, it was just a sprain. You can come in two weeks for check up infact a week would do too. I am writing you some painkillers, be sure to take them on time." The doctor wrote down the medicines on a slip of paper and handed it to her.

Alia reached out but Arman had already taken the opportunity of her delay and grabbed the slip from the doctor. Alia stared at the empty hand of the doctor that held the slip previously. She looked at Arman for a second and then awkwardly lowered her hand. The doctor paid her no attention.

"Thank you, doctor." Saying so, Arman opened the door for her.

Alia got up and walked out, thanking the doctor on her way. She walked silently with Arman and noticed a few things. The infrastructure was definitely not of a general or public hospital. He had brought her to a private one! How was she suppose to pay the bill or even he?

"Are you serious and in your damm mind?" She hissed to him while continuing to walk acting normal.

"Me?" He tilted his head with a confused expression.

"Oh no, not you. I was talking to my snake matchmaking auntie." She sassed.

"Oh, okay." He understood.

"No! Of course I am talking to you!" She cleared it out for him.

"Make up your mind then!" He glared back at her.

"It's not my fault that you didn't understand the sarcasm." She hinted at his mistake.

"Not my fault either that you can't use it correctly." He taunted back making her look appalled. "And what am I out of my mind for?"

"Look, I get it. To impress me you arranged all of that food and sweets and you brought me to a private hospital in a hurry but you don't waste money like that." She explained. "That is your father's hard earned money. Stop wasting it for impressing someone who is not even interested in you."

"What are you talking about?!" He stepped in front of her making her stop and stare at him. He took her to the side and nudged her to talk.

"Arman, it's okay! Stop trying to impress me. But for next time don't overdo it. Come on, I have to pay the bill too." She stepped aside and walked.

"What bill? I paid it already." He pulled her back and confessed.

"Why?" She questioned. "That's what I am talking about! Just to impress a girl you waste thousands of rupees that your parents earned! Why did you pay when I got injured? Girls are not that important."

"What the fuck?" He hissed. "First of all, I assist in father's business and he pays me for that. So I earn the money and second of all, I didn't need to impress you at the moment because you needed help. Hence, I drove you too." Arman couldn't help himself and burst her bubble of self important. "And thir—"

Alia's phone rang and she took it out of she pocket. It was her mother calling and it was around 5pm. She was always home before that and if not she always informed beforehand.

Shushing Arman, she picked up the phone. "Mama?"

"Where are you? And is your current location notifying me of a hospital? Why are you there?!" Her mother immediately questioned her, making her heart race to death.
