"Everything is going to be Okay," Arman spoke in her ear, "you don't have to worry about anything Alia. Stop worrying." A kiss came on her forehead.
She sniffed and nodded, even though it was so hard to control her tears.

Advik had gone back to sleep after his medication and Alia had quietly sat inside the room, in a corner, watching her brother as slowly she came towards the reality that he might have complications with his neurosurgery.

"Comp-complications," she sobbed. "That's not fair. Is it not enough that he is already in hospital for him to have complications after his surgery?"

She heard him sigh. "We are taking him back as soon as possible. They are getting him ready along with every other report. You need to stand bravely there, Alia."

Her eyes that had been looking at her brother this entire time now turned to Armaan. After a conversation with Ziagham, Arman had come inside the room and since Shaan was sleeping, they had started to talk about him. He would need a surgery.

Even though it was a minor one, since it was involving the brain it could have a lot of things go wrong and they were going to be complications after it which meant that for an year or two or maybe even more Shaan could not put any kind of pressure on his brain.

"Neurosurgery is going to require lots of money," she murmured looking at him, "I don't have that kind of money and it's over to you for the decision that if you want to give it or not. I swear to God Arman I'm not going to hold it against you if you deny—"

"Shh," she became quiet immediately and glanced at her brother thinking that he might have woken up but he hadn't, thankfully.

She looked at him again, who was looking at her with a slightly annoyed look. "I do want to spend it on him. It is not a very big of an operation to demand a lot of money for stop if you want you can pay me back and I am completely fine by that or you not paying back as well."

She gulped and glanced at her brother once again. She was going to pay him back eventually with given numbers of years it would take when she would come to know the cost of the operation in India. It was of this that she was going to do so.

"What now?"

Arman held her hand in his and told her, "the doctors have told me that except for his neurosurgery, every other one of his is stable and can be alright for travelling. There would be a doctor and nurse accompanying us on flight back home, nurse most probably."

She nodded and muttered, " you are also going to pay for the nurse, huh?"

He nodded. "I do not want any complications. She could stabilize his condition if it, god forbid, worsens on flight."

She closed her eyes at the thought immediately and give out alongside. Don't think about it, don't think about it. She chanted repeatedly.

"Don't baby," he kissed her forehead and then slightly pulled her from her side only to have her sit in his lap as cuddled her close.

She sniffed and hugged him close too.
"What next?"

He rubbed her knee, "the next thing would be to take him to a good doctor. We can take a second and third opinion as well if you want and then you can decide which doctor to go to which procedure to follow. After that we will go through surgery and then his recovery process will start."

She nodded. It seemed okay, everything would be okay.

She felt fingers in her chin and her vision was turned towards Armaan who looked down at her with a Stern face. "Do not let it get to you. I am right here and with you. I will handle everything."

"For how long?" She could not refrain herself from asking. How long was he going to be there before he left too?

"Forever, baby." He kissed her lips, "I'm not going anywhere."

*******
He had arranged a fucking private medical jet. It was equipped with everything for an emergency and he was actually paying for a doctor and a nurse.

This moment she had entered the plane the first thought that came to Alia's mind was how the hell was she going to pay for everything!

She shook her head and then focused on her brother. That was not something she was to think about. What she was to think and focus on Shaan's health and then when the operation was done she was to focus on how to play Armaan back.

She sighed. "Is he alright?" She asked the nurse who was sitting beside her.
She nodded. "Yes," she looked at the monitor, "uh-huh, everything seems to be ok for now. We need to watch out for his blood pressure now that we are in the air."

She looked at the monitor too. There were lines going zigzag and all Alia knew was from the movies that if they went straight than he was in trouble. By the amount of zigzag it was happening she assumed that everything was alright.

She sighed and leaned back into the seat.  But the question was how long it was going to be alright for?
