"Bali?" Alia scoffed, "Bali as in a real place Bali and fully paid?" Alia screeched.

"Mom tell him!" Alia looked at her mother knowing well that this could be a fraud in which either they took the Ahuja family's money and ran away or they sold them off in the black market or maybe both.

"Baba," Pujita cooed, "these things aren't really true almost all of the times. They commit frauds with families who believe them."

"But they are even coming to confirm and verify everything in the evening." He whispered, dejected by the information he got.

"You gave them your address?" Alia screeched as Pujita shushed her.

"Fine, let them come and we'll continue from there then, okay?"

"Yeah. Cool." He went and washed his hands, changed his white uniform shirt with a t-shirt and came to lunch.

"So when is your next appointment, Alia?"

"Two weeks," she answered. "Depends on my healing process."

"That's good to know." Her mother then changed the object of observation to her brother, the new lab rat.

Alia was rather surprised that he took her to a hospital to begin with. For all that he could have done, dropping her at a public hospital or simply a dispensary seemed like a suitable option too.

"Alia Didi!" She physically jumped at her brother's call. Running out of the room she saw two men standing at the door.

"How may we help you?" She politely asked them.

"We were here for the verifications, Passport and tickets madam."

As soon as these verifications were done even thorough bank, they left them all the important documents. They had gone over every detail from confirming the book of three days and four nights over the phone to the return tickets.

"A-are we really going to Bali?" Pointing a finger at her grinning brother, "because of him?" Alia made a sour face.

Pujita who still hadn't come out of her own shock said, "it seems so."

Checking the papers again and again for any fraud, "we're going in three days." Pujita declared.

Shaan whooped and went to his room, probably going to brag about it to his friends. Alia shook her head and then went back to her own room wanting to tell Shivani about it.

"Hey," she picked up in the first go.

"I am going to bali,"

"Wow that's great."

5..4..3..2..1..

"Wait what? How?"

Still a dumbass.

"Shaan won a lottery ticket at school and turns out we won." She answered.

"Oh, hey ttyl, mum and dad came home." Saying that Shivani hung up and Alia totally understood her. Her parents were like Nazis to Jews. So Shivani avoided any sort of confrontation or attention from them. Alia wondered what she would do after shifting to Australia.

Alia sighed, so much had happened today and to be frank it was today that had given her a little bit of good news. Her vibrated in her hand and she picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Hi Jaan," he chuckled. He didn't think that she would pick up.

"Why- how did you get-"

"Student council member, me is. So me gets access to everything." He yawned out. "Anyway what are you doing?"

What are we bff's?

"I am not doing anything and do not call me again!"

"I will," he spoke in a unusual calm voice.

"And why will you do that?" She spoke in cooing voice as if talking to a baby.

"Because," he stopped but continued anyway, "I feel something for you, you know. It's something in my mind that I can't tell." Or my heart.

"What is it, love? Or a crush?" She asked genuinely interested in the conversation.

"I don't know," about love, "but obsession, yes."

As if, she scoffed.

"It's going to be difficult for you. I have my eyes on you and I won't leave you."

".. won't leave me till you're bored?" She added her own words.

As if that could ever happen. He laid down on his bed and stared at the ceiling.

"I won't be bored of you and if I were then you'd be free."

Wow, aren't you blunt. She scoffed again.

"Can't you leave me alone?" She asked him in a soft voice wanting to drop the conversation and hang up.

Can I? He thought. No, he couldn't. He didn't want to. He wanted to be with her twenty four seven if he could. She was so beautiful, feisty and witty. He loved that fact that she could stand up for herself.

"I like you way more than I have ever felt for anyone. Give me a chance, Jaan, I won't disappoint you, if you do. I would give you everything and anything you want but if you don't; I have other means to make you say yes. But I wish that you give me a chance."

"Why should I? Just because you're rich?" She couldn't help but ask.

"No, well maybe," he admitted. "But I'm ready to work on it. I am ready to compromise with you and I want you to do the same. I'll walk thorough it with you instead of diving into it."

Alia didn't know what to say. She had received a number confessions but this one had won her heart. She breathed in, "Give me some time. I'll tell you soon." Without receiving a reply she hung up and threw her phone on the bed and walked out.
