She visited her brother was as if her heart was not pounding loudly and she had not been in a situation where she almost feared everything she had ever known.

"So, how are you?" Shaan in his asked in voice. He was usually given mens for sleeping which is why whenever you woke up and talked his voice was raspy.

"Good," Alia smiled at him.

Advik sighed loudly. "You are overwhelmed with the the wedding preparations." He concluded. "How big is that family?"

"Very," her answer was immediate. It was as if the family had no pass time before except to just go at it like rabbits and give out kids. The close family that she had seen was what she imagined as the guest list of her wedding. There was no way that she was going to have a small and intimate wedding. "I always dreamt of having the small and intimate wedding but with the number of relatives that are close unjust first cousins is humongous!" She rubbed her forehead.

Advik chuckled. "That's bad. I am sorry I cannot be there you. You might have to take care of it all yourself." He felt bad because at the end of the day it was him who had pushed his sister to marriage just because he did not want her to be alone.

Alia shook her head. "Just rest, yeah?" She murmured as she caressed his hair. "The wedding is going to be months a way for you to heal. I want you to be there for me." She whispered with slightly tearful eyes.

He was supposed to be there for the wedding. He was the only living member that Alia had and she was not going to get married without him.

The brother and sister chatted for a small time because then the nurse had arrived by them to give Shaan his next dose of medicine that would once again make him slip into sleep.

She watched him take the injection without any pain or wince on his face. Alia remembered the time when he used to be scared of them but with this accident his fear had vanished and the reality that not sit well.

After he fell asleep Alia did not go the moving out of the hospital. She continued to stay in the room as she stared at her brother.

Most of the time she wanted to know why she was getting married. With how the marriage of their parents turned out out to be, Aliya wanted to be financially independent even after getting married because then she would have the chance of leaving Armaan without having to beg or even ask for alimony. Even if they had kids Alia wanted to have money and job in her pocket that would provide for them.

She wanted to have one option in her hand that could help her throughout life but could house things were going she knew she could not refuse especially when every relative new. She just have to go with it and find a better paying job after being married.

She huffed before getting up walking to her brother and kissing his head. After that she gave the driver a call and just as she walked out of the doors of the hospital the driver was waiting for her.

"Let's go uncle," she said as she clsoed the door.

"I don't appreciate being called that,  Especially by my future wife." Aliya open her eyes to see Armaan sitting on the driver's seat, "however I think we can find much better terms." He winked.

She chuckled before going over to the front seat by stepping out of the car. Within moments they were out of the hospital and driving to the house.

"Tired?" He asked and she nodded.

"Would you have married me now?" When Armaan threw a questioning look her way Aliya repeated with elaboration, "I mean, if it was not my brother telling you proposed to me like right now or would you have waited for sometime?"

"How does that matter?" He made a turn. "You were eventually going to end up being my wife." There was no way in hell that he was not going to marry Alia. The question was just when.

"Oh," she replied and the entire car ride till the house was filled with silence. None of them both felt the need to fill it up. With relatives now gone, Armaan had much more freedom to be handsy with Alia than before especially when they were on the verge of getting married. Just as he helped her out of car he did not let go of her hand and walked in together.

They both work to the kitchen and put themselves glasses of water. Aliya purched herself on the top of the counter as amounts to leaning against it.

"Are you happy?" He asked as he kept the glass down and neared her. "I want to know what you truly think."

"Why?"

He caressed her cheek with his thumb. "I want you happy and mine."

She narrowed her eyes at him. "What if I just want one of the things?"

"Then I will decide it for you," he said as he placed a case on her forehead. "I do a good job when it comes to making decisions for you, don't I?"

He did. That was true, so she nodded. "I know that."

He nodded but did not take his eyes off of her. "Don't worry," he whispered, "I will take care of it all."

Alia smiled. But the question was what was it that she wanted him to take care of? What was this uncertainty that she felt inside?
