"You choose a cafe to meet me instead of a good restaurant." Arman...
The moment her brother's name slipped out of her mouth Armaan went back to his room only to come out with his car keys in his hand and to jackets. One he handed to her and one he was himself.
Shaan cat on babbling on the phone and Alia heard him thoroughly. She even carried on a conversation about a completely different topics to take his mind off something that he was about to do.
Armaan was softly talking to someone on the phone and Alia did not give a damn about that.
"You remember?" She chuckled nervously, "you were crying so badly when you were sitting on the horse."
"I know, " he cried, sniffing repeatedly, "you could not even get any good pictures because of me. I start in front of you and every picture had me crying in it."
Shit, what was I thinking before picking up that memory? "Shaan, I had pimples on my face then. I don't think I would have uploaded any picture anyway— Shaana?!" She shrieked.
There was some kind of muffled arguing. She could hear Shaan screaming and that did not make her heart ease. "what's going on?!" She screamed into the phone but no one replied to her.
"Armaan?" She whimpered as she looked at him for help. "The not telling me what's going on. I can hear the screaming . . . . what's going on?!" She palmed her forehead with the stress she said. At any moment her head would burst.
"Don't worry," Armaan enter the hospital parking and part in the 1st spot which was thankfully empty because it was the night. Both of them got out of the car and they ran inside the building.
Her heart pounded so hard in her chest that she could not even fathom the thought of what would happen if. . Don't think about it. Don't think about.
There fevers. She could hear the screams of her brother from the next corridor. They rounded it and there he stood. Alia's eyes widened at how many people were holding her brother. She stopped in the hallway.
She stopped running and Armaan ran past her. She watched the small Chaos is a in front of a as the forced Shaan in a room. The nurse came running into the scene with an injection in her hand and she plunged it into her brother's arm.
Within moments her brother's slipped out of consciousness.
All of this happened while She watched. To what boys pick him up and place them on a stretcher before taking him back to his room. Armaan was talking to the doctor and she finally noticed Zaigham there.
What just happened?
Her eyes that had previously lowered to the floor raised themselves when she so Armaan walking to her.
"Everything is alright," he cooed as he took her in his arms, "is going to be out of date for tonight. Tomorrow when the drug is out of his system the doctors will carry of the surgery. So the timing may be delayed but that's all."
That was not all. "What happened Armaan?" She sniffed and pulled away. "That's not who my brother was. My mother and I made sure to tell him that suicide was never an option and-and not only that the provided him with the good environment . . .I don't know how we got that Idea." She palmed her mouth at the thought.
Her brother was going to suicide.
But over what? And who put this idea in his head?
"Calm down, baby," he said as he placed a hand over her shoulder. Alia's scared eyes moved to him and he nodded. "I had called Zaigham while you were talking to your brother. He lives about 10-20 minutes away so it would have been easy for him to arrive before we could."
"You did. . ?" She mumbles, still slightly dazed.
He nodded. "I had informed everyone on the reception and the receptionist put everyone on alert which is why they were able to reach your brother in time." He squeeze her shoulder as he rubbed it to console her. "See? I was not planning on letting anything happen to him."
Alia's eyes move from Armaan to Zaigham. He saved her brother.
Zaigham did not looked like he was dressed for this. She was wearing mismatched slippers with sweats and then a jumper from which anyone could see that he was not wearing a shirt underneath. He must have had read to reach in time.
Without thinking about what she was going to do she stepped away from Armaan and flung herself at Zaigham.
She threw her arms around Zaigham and hugged him tightly. "Thank you!" She whispered to his ears and sniffed loudly. "Thank you so much." The words were barely clear because Alia was on the verge of breaking down.
Ziagham's hands remained on his sides as a controlled and hugging her. Armaan xyz remained on the fact that his woman was in the arms of someone else. Even though he tried to have empathy regarding the whole matter with Alia this made his nerve clench.
Especially when his friends hands moved and he patted Alia's back.
"It's alright Alia," he patted her back lightly, "this was necessary. Please do not thank me for this." Zaigham said in a low voice.
Alia let go and nodded. "Thank you so much." She said again, not being able to hold back her gratitude for this. "I owe you one." She told him and Ziagham laughed and Arman chuckled.
"Let's go love," Arman said with a small sigh, "Advik is not waking anytime soon. Plus we have to answer mum and dad. None of us brought our phone." And the one that Alia had in her hand was in the car.
"I'll walk you out." Ziagham called out from behind them and when Alia looked back, he winked at her.
