She had put on a brave face in front of him and she knew it now that she was panicking. She was walking quickly through the hallways eager to get away from him as soon as she could.

She had descended to the second floor from the third and was almost on her way to first when someone held her hand.

She turned to him immediately making herself stumble a bit. "Arman! Let go!" She yelled without any fear. She pulled her hand out of his grip but he didn't leave her.

"Really? You are going to tell me?" He scoffed. He shook his head as if he couldn't believe it. He pulled her hand and walked forward. Alia tried to resist, she was pushing her heels against the ground but he was more powerful. The muscles that she had once admired were the ones she was cursing now.

He pulled her into a classroom and locked the door.

"Stop it!" She shoved him away to open the door but he pulled her back by her bag making her fall on the ground.

He glared down at her. "I love you. You, I love you and all I ask for is knowing where you are, how you are and that's too much?!"

The ground that she had fallen was a step above ground for the teacher's convince. Instead of getting up she straightened up and sat on the step.

"That's not wrong." She opened her ponytail and massaged her head tiredly. She had to make his idiot understand her point. "What's wrong is having people on my back without my knowledge, instead of asking me. It's a choice where I tell you how or where I am going. You have to respect that." She sighed and looked at him, "You don't understand that and I can see that."

Arman knew what she was going to say. He couldn't let that happen. He loved her. He loved everything about her, hell he was his future with her.

"I am ready to now." He spoke up and bent on one knee in front of her, looking desperate for the chance he was going to ask her for. "I am ready to understand now and you can no you have to-"

Alia shook her head."But I don't want to now. I have chosen to let go. It's easy to understand the point and you cannot understand, how is it that you don't get it."

He got aggressively paced around to calm himself down. He loved her, his heart was hers and she wanted to leave?

"But I'm ready to now!" He told her in utter desperation that Alia could make out just from his voice. "Do you remember what I said when I asked you to be my girlfriend? I said I want to be the best boyfriend but you have to give me chances to become better because would mess up. Didn't I say so?"

He did. She nodded.

"Then why is it that you are backing out of it so early? I haven't had a second chance, I haven't had a third chance, I have had no chances yet. Why cannot you give me one more?"

Her heart melted. No matter how much she tried to turn it to stone she couldn't do so with the love she had in her heart for him. For the last two years, he had been the best boyfriend so a second thought could be given to him.

She truly did love him and that love made it difficult for her to not forgive him.

And a second chance was deserved by everyone.

"Fine, it's your last chance," she relented but held up a finger before he could intervene, "last chance for this matter. You're going to work on it and I will try my best to tell you where I am and how my day is going." She compromised too.

He nodded and once again there was a dazzling smile on his face. Leaning forward he caught her lips in his.

Alia that day arrived home an hour late.

Arman had changed and she had noticed that.

The compromise from her side was also carried out. During the day he would ask for her schedule and Alia would provide him with that and he would too. The only downside to it for him was that she had not included any change of plans. If she had to hurry somewhere, it wasn't guaranteed that he would be told.

It was better than she had expected.

It had been two weeks since her mother had left and was tending to her mother but due to an emergency, Alia's mother had to be called to her office and was coming in within a few hours.

For which Alia had cleaned the entire house through and through erasing every evidence of food that was brought from outside. Making sure that there were no vegetables left in the fridge so that her mother would know that they were eating properly. She had also called the electrician making sure that the short circuit was taken care of.

All of these had been extremely tiring and now, she was enjoying her iced tea.

Her phone rang and she muted the television, picking the phone to see she picked up her mother's call.

"Hello..yes..No, hold on, please hold on. I'll be there!" She yelled and moved out of the house with her keys.
