Slowly, she went up the stairs. Alia made no haste in going to her room because she did not find any reason to.

When she went to the first floor, the first thing she did was take off the heels she had worn for the entire day.

Taking them in her hand, she moved inside the room and dropped the shoes beside the door.

"Pick them up and put them in the closet,"

She yelped and turned into the direction of the voice only to see Armaan standing near the bathroom door.

He pointed to the shoes that she had thrown on the floor. "Pick them up."

Raising her hands in the air and imitating the position of surrender, she picked up the shoes and went inside the gigantic room he called said closet to place them in.

The first thing she did was put her shoes in the desired place. There was an entire cabinet dedicated to just shoes and her shoes had almost felt the half of it. On the other hand, Armaan was a different story. His were filled completely.

She walked back and stood outside the closet. "You called for me?"

His finger pointed to the wall that had a clock on it. "You want to back from my office around 3 in the afternoon and it is 7:30, Alia. The worst part about it is no one knew where you were."

She huffed in annoyance. "I was specifically fine with my brand from before but you shifted me to the one that has no battery life! What do you think was going to happen?"

"What I thought was going to happen," he stepped forward, "was you coming back home as intended to."

Alia shook her head. The words got to her. "Why do I have to tell anyone where I am going? As long as I am coming home, it should not be a problem."

Arman smiled. "Not be a problem? Not knowing where my wife is at all times should not be a problem, you say?"

Alia shook her head. "No, I don't think so."

"Really?" He stepped closer and titled her chin up with his fist gently. "I guess if you do not understand the words I speak, maybe I should resort to other methods."

"What?" She mumbled and blinked. "What the hell are you talking about?"

He smiled. "You'll see."

"Here," the chief handed her the lunch prepared for Arman, "everything is bad in but its liquid today, so make sure to hold it upright."

"Okay." Alia nodded and took the tiffin box from the chef before walking out of the house and towards the car that the driver was standing in front of.

On seeing the young mistress of the house coming towards him, The driver wished her before taking the box from her. "Thank you, Madam. I can take this to sir now."

Alia scowled before chuckled. "No, that is not needed. I am coming with you." Or much brother like he was taking her.

"No, Madam," Rajesh shook his head and suddenly appeared to be remorseful. "I have been told not to take you out of the house."

Alia froze for a second before she narrowed her eyes at the man. "What do you mean? What are you talking about?"

Rajesh chuckled nervously. "Young master has told me not to take you out unless I get direct approval from him."

"Approval from him?'

Rajesh nodded. "He has not called me with the instructions of taking you to him. Unfortunately, I cannot take you out of the estate."

"Hold on," Alia hissed and stepped closer to the man. "What is the world are you talking about? What instructions?"

"I..I uh.." Rajesh gulped. "I don't know..?"

"I just told me about the instructions from Armaan." She pointed it out.

"Yes, and that was it." He hurried the words out. "That is all I know. I swear on my family!"

"You are a bachelor."

"My mother and father then."

Alia shook her head in frustration before she pointed her finger in his face. "Tell me right now—'

"Alia!"

Her head whipped around only to see her father-in-law standing at the entrance of the house. "Come here, child." He called loudly because of the distance that was in between them.

"Stay here," Aliya told the driver pointedly before walking back to the house where her father-in-law was. "Yes,  Uncle?"

The man looked behind her where the driver was possible is standing and gave him a nod. When Alia turned around to see what it was about, the man had already started the car and was leaving the premises.

"Uncle," she pointed at the car now gone, "I told him not to leave."

"He left because I told him to." Siddharth answered with his hands behind his back. "Now come with me."

Without waiting for her reply, Siddharth turned around and left, leaving her to follow her behind.

She silently trailed behind him and did not stop until he did which was inside his old office.

"Come sit," He pointed to the chair and she took a seat. "Now, let's talk."
