He pulled apart, heaving just as she was and joined his forehead to his. Both of them had closed their eyes and just. . . stayed. They stayed with thier heads joined together.
Once their breaths were back to normal, she pulled back and he so did he.
"We just to back." She mumbled and he continued to stare at her before nodding. He stepped forward and the small area in which they were confined to did not help. His held her chin gently and tilted her head up.
His eyes dropped to her lips and his brushed his thumb over the bruised skin. "You feel that?" He rubbed his skin and watched the cheeks blush in colour. "I feel that too." He told her softly.
She gulped as her eyes quickly glanced over his lips and then went back to his eyes. The eyes she missed deep in her heart.
"You're mine, Alia. Remember that." Removing his hand from her chin, he stepped back and turned around to leave, closing the door shut behind him.
She released a huge breath before hanging her head low and hitting herself on the back of her head.
What did I just do? She hit herself once more, I just fed him more instead of getting out it. Shit!
She got dressed without any hurry and rather lazily one could say. Getting dressed in such a small room was no fun.
She got out and moved to the mini bar where Arman and Zaigham already were. The latter completely ignored her presence.
What was up with him?
She ignored him too and raised her hand slightly for the attention of the bartender.
"Hi, I'll take a-'
"Coke."
She turned to look at Arman who was reading something on his tablet. Within moments a tall glass of coca cola was placed in front of her.
"Arman," she tapped his shoulder when he didn't turn to her, "I could have spoken for myself."
He nodded casting his dark eyes at her once. "I never said that."
"Then why did you order for me?" She hissed. Why would he do that? She could have easily given an order for herself without any interference from him.
"I like taking care of you." He answered and finally abandoned his gadget, turning all his attention over to her. " Tell me, what's your problem with such a trivial thing? Is that what your maturity is at?"
"Maturity?" She repeated incredulously. Where did that come from? "No," she shook her head from. "Why are you bringing maturity in this?"
He sighed tiredly and she scoffed. What The hell?!
"You tell me, how is me ordering a drink for you such a matter that you have to discuss it with me?" He pointed out and she felt a small change. She felt herself grow smaller at that.
It was just a drink at the end. She swallowed at the sight of the drink. What was she thinking?
Sighing she picked up the glass of drink and sipped it, savoring the flavor of her favourite soft drink.
********
The lights were off and almost everyone was asleep where as Alia was wide awake and was watching the waters below then.
It was soothing sight. Even though there were waves in the waters, if even to be perfectly calm.
Calm was the exact opposite of what she was feeling. She was anxious and at the same time nervous too. She knew what was coming next but she was not prepared for it, not in the slightest.
How was she to watch shaan on a hospital bed? And then send him to surgery?
"Stop thinking." She felt a warm hand cover hers and she looked over. "There no need for overthinking."
She shook her head. "Thinking of the future she not overthinking."
Arman chuckled, "It is when you comprised your sleep for it. Tell me, what is it that worries you so much?"
She shrugged. Thinking about it, she could immediately feel the tears burning in her eyes. "Shaan."
"And?" He prompted.
She sighed and sniffed, looking down in her lap, she answered him. "I didn't know what to do."
"You should. You were thinking about it." He pointed out and she nodded.
"But not that way, I was thinking how I cannot see him in a hospital bed. I won't be able to function."
Arman turned to look in the front and she watched his expression anxiously too see if he was going to make fun of her.
"Alia," he took of his hands from hers and she missed the warmth immediately as he took his hand away, "I am right here with you. How about you leave that worry to me and focus on your brother's health?"
She swallowed and looked out of the window. There was nothing wrong with the fact If he wanted to take a worries away and look out for them when she could completely focused on her brother. Of course, for his money, that he was spending on them, he would like to know where what amount was going so she would leave that completely up to him.
"Okay," she nodded and turned to him with a smile on her face, "You do that." She whispered.
He nodded, as she made herself comfortable in her seat. She had fallen into a different world as he watched.
