THE PLANET OF NABOO WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE SHE'D EVER SAW. Tatooine could never be compared to this place. It wasn't just filled with endless sand, it was filled with flowers, trees, mountains, grass, and so many more things. Elara could get used to this place if she ever decided to live here one day when she got old.
But sadly right now, Naboo was in war with Federation, and not many people were left, it was mostly the Federation. Elara supposed they were lucky the ship got past their defenses, because if it hadn't they would've been siezed and taken in by the Federation, which honestly would've sucked.
And on top of that, the planet was eerily silent. It was a ghost city, it felt like they were in the middle of nowhere in a vast desert but they were not in the middle of nowhere, so it very unusual for such a huge city.
Earlier, they went to the Gungan's homeland underwater to seek aid in the war, but they were all gone, so Jar Jar took them to their sacred land where the Gungan would be hiding. Now, they were standing in front of Boss Nass.
Elara watched as the queen slowly approched Boss Nass. She looked down at the blaster pistol Qui-Gon forced her to equip earlier, telling her since she doesn't exactly know how to weild a lightsaber, she should use a blaster pistol especially when they stormed the castle in Naboo.
"Ah, ello dare, ye big Boss Nass, You Honor." Jar Jar cried. Elara narrowed her gaze at the huge gungan perched atop a stone statuette as his surrounding people stared in curiosity.
Boss Nass grumbled, "Jar Jar Binks, who's da uss-en other's?" he asked.
The Queen of Naboo stepped forward. "I am Queen Amidala of Naboo. . . I come before you in peace," the girl began, causing the Gungan to stare in absolute confusion. Elara worriedly glanced at Obi-Wan who was simply calm. Queen Amidala continued. "We have searched you out because we wish to from an alliance-"
Suddenly, a handmaiden stepped past the queen and towards the leader of the Gungans. Elara swallowed thickly, noticing the handmaiden was Padmé.
"Your Honor," she began, everyone became tense and scared. "I am Queen Amidala."
Elara let out a shocked gasp, exchanging a surprised look with Obi-Wan. The Gungans all muttered amongst each other. Padmé was the Queen of Naboo?
Padmé continued on, gesturing to the woman behind her dressed as the queen. "This is my decoy, my protection, my loyal bodyguard. I am sorry for my deception, but it was necessary to protect myself. Although we do not always agree, Your Honor, our two great societies haved always lived in peace. The Trade Federation has destroyed all that we have worked so hard to build."
She paused. Boss Nass squinted his huge dark eyes down at her, before she continued again. "I ask you to help us," she knelt down. "No, I beg you to help us. We are your humble servants."
