EVERYONE GOT TO THE ELEVATOR, they stood in silence as Artoo was trying to get it to open, but they were taken by surprise when the ship tilted. Anakin used his lightsaber to create a large opening for the five of them to fall through. As they fell, they grabbed hold of a ledge to save themselves from death.
The battle outside was growing more and more intense as each second went by, so that meant they had to escape before the ship decided to go down.
"Come on, this way!" Anakin yelled. They all let go of the ledge and jumped into the elevator shaft to walk across it but they had to be fast so they wouldn't fall to their death.
As they ran across it, the ship tilted and the five of them all fell down the shaft. Elara managed to grab hold of a loose wire hanging from the elevator shaft as Anakin grabbed hold of her torso with Obi-Wan on his back and the Chancellor holding into Anakin's leg while Gavyyn hung from a wire below the Chancellor.
Elara widened her eyes, scared that they were going to die no matter what they tried and that fear only escalated when Obi-Wan woke up and almost made them all fall to their death.
"What is that?" Obi-Wan suddenly inquired. They all looked up to see what he was talking about. Elara gasped when she saw an elevator screeching towards them. They were about to get squished.
"Artoo, Artoo! Shut down the elevator!" Elara screamed into her comlink as her heart hammered in her chest.
"Artoo!" Anakin screamed.
Obi-Wan peered down as the elevator got dangerously close. Elara looked down at what he was looking at, it was the ground. It was a risk but if the world was in their favor then they'd survive. "No time. Jump!"
With that being said, the five of them let go and fell downward as the elevator came for them. Elara and Anakin pulled out their grappling hooks and locked it onto the beams and threw themselves into an open door, Obi-Wan landing on his back with a groan, his eyes fluttering open.
Elara put her hands on her knees, breathing heavily. They almost just died. The Force was definitely in their favor if they survived that.
"What happened?" Obi-Wan asked.
Elara looked down at her lover. "We almost just died."
"What?" he got to his feet, causing Gavyyn to snicker. "Why didn't you wake me?" he asked.
Gavyyn sighed, rolling her eyes. "You were knocked out, Master Kenobi. You wouldn't wake."
