Authors POV
Melissa sunk into the bath, relaxing with the soothing bath soap, "Daddy's awake, he scared me, thinking that he didn't know me or that he is having twins." Melissa spoke to her growing belly.
Sighing, Melissa washed her face with the water, now becoming cold. "Do I add more warm water or make something for the other two loves of my life?" Melissa asked her twins. Feeling them kick, she smiled, placing her hands over her twins. "Can you do that when we see daddy, please? He would love to feel you kick" Melissa explained to her twins.
"OK, I think we better get out and make them something, and bring them the items on the list they wrote." Melissa smiled, Pulling herself up carefully. Melissa stepped out of the bath, taking her towel from the rack. Drying her self off, she wrapped her towel around herself, heading toward their bedroom large walk in robe, something Melissa never had.
Melissa picked out a pair of maternity jeans. Melissa looked through her tops and deciding on flowing three-quarter sleeves top.
Looking at herself smiling at her body. The last couple of weeks, Melissa has come into her pregnant body feeling better about herself. She rubbed her hand over the fabric of her plump stomach.
She walked down to the kitchen and looked around, realising that she hadn't gone shopping, so there was nothing in the house. Grabbing her bag and keys, Melissa headed to the shops to make a proper meal for herself and her loves in the hospitable, along with getting their goodies.
Arriving at the store, Melissa picked up fresh products along with some treats, walking down each aisle, thinking of what she could make for them and take into the hospitable for them. Melissa picked out all the fresh products she wanted to add to the dishes coming to the end of her shop. Before heading to the checkout and paying for the items for her family.
When Melissa gets home, she prepared food for her family. As the food finished simmering on the stove, Melissa put together for herself, Abby and Chris for the next couple of days, along with the list of items they asked for her to bring. Chris wanted little, just a crossword or sudoku, of course, his phone. Abby sat in her bed board, so she asked for a lot, so Melissa compromised by bringing her a few things to do other than her iPad.
Finally, when everything finished, the bags packed, and the food in containers and the cool items in an insulated lunch box with an ice pack keeping them cool. Melissa slowly took the semi-heavy loaded bags to the car, returning to retrieve the bags of food.
Walking into the hospitable with a wheel bag filled with close and other things, a reusable cooler bag filled with the food, over the handle and her bag over her shoulder.
Walking through the ward, Melissa smiled, saying hello to the nurses working and in particular the ones that were looking after Chris and Abby. "Miss Benoist," a nurse caught Melissa walking towards their room.
Melissa stopped and smiled "Hello, are you one nurse taking care of Abby and Chris?" Melissa asked, "Yes, I just thought I'd let you know we thought it might be nice to take Abby out of the room and to the children's hospitable so she can be around kids her age." Abby's and Chris's nurse, Tristan explained.
"Chris's doctor and nurse looked concerned because he couldn't feel them touching his feet," Tristan explained. As Tristen explained Chris's situation, Melissa only saw her mouth move, feeling numb, Melissa couldn't bear to think Chris could not run around with their kids.
