Hey Friends. This is the last instalment of the book. I have thoroughly enjoyed writing book.

I am going to take a break writing supergirl/Karmel and Melwood books. I would like to focous on writing my own original book. This is not because super girl has ended.

Now lets talk about the ending!!! SPOILER ALEART !! I thought it was a great ending. I honestly though she was going to go ack to the future with mon-el or we would get a small cute scene with them. But I love how she found the courage to e her full self with the world. That's the best thing that they could do to show everyone that you can be your full self with everyone and not let anyone criticise. maybe down the track we might have a reunion where the family gets in trouble because of her coming out, and the legion comes to help. who knows...

what did you guys think, let me know in the comments. also let me know what you thought of this story. did you like it ???

Authors POV

As the years went on, all the children were growing up. Abby's growing up into a beautiful young lady who loved taking care of her younger siblings. She loved doing Brenna's hair, and Brenna loved her sister doing her hair.

At three, Brenna received her first prosthetic arm, and she's not keen on the prosthetic arm. Instead, she vocally pointed out it's cool to only have one arm than to have two.Chris and Melissa kept persisting with Brenna and her prosthetic arm. Finally, she accepted defeat, likewise with her parents.Being the only boy, Levi felt out, so Chris always did his best to spend quality father-son time with Levi.Like his mother, Levi loved his dinosaurs. They would talk about whether they were a Carnivore or herbivorous, walked on land, saw or flew in the sky.Levi always asked for a brother if he could have a younger brother or an older brother. Brenna and Abby started getting in on the action, too, wanting another sibling.________Melissa's POVAbby's turning 10 double digests; therefore, we wanted to make the day memorable for her. We picked up the twins from daycare, now going twice a week, and the rest of the days, they were at school like Abby. We headed to Abby's school, picking her up and heading to a carnival where Abby wanted to go. Thankfully, it's Friday, so we didn't need to think about school the next day. Brenna and Levi slept at daycare to stay awake longer at the fair and have fun with the family.Walking into Abby's school grounds, we saw her sitting with one of her friend's. He is such a lovely boy; He is in the year above but always talked. He always sat Abby if we were running late. This time she's taking care of him. I noticed he looked different. His clothes rattled, and I could visibly see bruises from far away along with grazes over his arms.He isn't the boy that plays rough or gets involved with fights. "Bren, Levi, why don't you go play on the playground," I suggested. Chris looked at me, then at Abby's friend. Brenna and Levi ran over to the playground, immediately taking to the slid and monkey bars. Chris and I held hands, walking over to Abby and her friend."Hey, Abby, Tristan," I smiled gently. Then, being polite, Tristan stood up. "Mr and Mrs Wood," he winced a little. That's right, we got married. When Brenna and Levi turned two, we decided it was finally time so our whole family could be part of our wedding. It was a simple ceremony, a family affair, with our close friends; But that's for another story and another time."Are you ok, Tristan?" Chris asked. Sitting down next to him, Tristant flinched when Chris placed his hand on his shoulder."Yeah, it's complicated," he responded. Chris knew it's a response when people try to deflect the question and don't want to answer and get other people involved."Abby, can you go over with your dad to your siblings?" I told asked two of my loves so I could talk to Tristan alone. Even though he's Abby's friend, Tristan and I have a unique bond with Tristan."Tristan, I know what's going on. I have been through some shitty stuff with Abby's biological father, so I kinda know when other people are trying to hide everything." I explained. He looked at him, trying to figure out if he could trust me."They don't have any money," he spits out. Looking at him, I know with the bruises on his face that's not the answer. I looked at Tristan, "Ok, well, how about you come with us back to our house, you have a shower, clean up and come to the fair with us for her birthday?" I asked him."Oh no, if I do, he will hit me if I am not home," he spoke the truth in defeat. I knew it would come out, but I didn't want to force it out."Do the teachers know?" I asked him. He looked at me with scared eyes. "I've tried to tell them, but they think I am making it up," He told me, wanting to get out of the situation he is in at the moment.I took a deep breath. "Ok, Chris and I will keep you safe, come to the fair, sleep at ours and tomorrow we will take you to the children and family court and help you get them sorted out. We will plead you can stay with us, even if we have to start a child fostering course." Melissa explained. Tristan made a slight chuckle, happy he could go to a safe home tonight. Tristan leapt in and gave me a hug, giving him a hug back. He sunk into it, happy to be in safe arms.____________Authors POVYears later....The bell dinged as a group of people left and came in. Levi and Brenna worked together, clearing and wiping down tables, reestablishing the used tables for the new customers. All the kids loved working as a team. Sometimes it's difficult for their teachers because when they're separated at school, their work would never get done and wouldn't work well. However, when the teacher paired them up, both became perfect angles and always got the job done and helped others with their unique individual skill sets.Melissa wiped down the coffee machine, giving it a clean while they had a brief break between customers and their coffee orders. Abby helped to wipe down the front benches. She got rid of old tickets, along with packing and unpacking the dishwasher, putting the plates, cutlery, glass cups and mugs away in their rightful place. The bell rang at the top of the door. Customers looked at who walked in as a reaction to friendly. Abby looked up and suddenly felt shy, with butterflies in her stomach. Abby's mother smiled, looking at her daughter, then at the tall young man.Like a professional, Abby walked up to the counter and bravely asked how the boy was going and how she could help him. Abby smiled when he asked her how she was. Melissa smiled at the tension between her daughter and her crush, remembering how it was like when she first met Chris and took his order years and years ago."Hi Abby," the young high schooler smiled."Hi Des, what. Um. Can I get you?" "What can I get you" Abby stuttered nervously to her crush Des, correcting herself."Can I get a muffin and a coffee, please?" Des asked, giving his signature smile he only uses for Abby, which makes her butterflies intensify.Des had olive skin and brown hair with a hint of strawberry blond mixed in. His blue eyes popped with his skin and hair. Des or Deseray wasn't famous, but he was one of the top players on the baseball team. However, he tried his best to stay out of all the cliques.Abby shakingly typed in his order, trying her best not to get it incorrect, so he didn't think she was strange and dumb."Mrs Wood, how are you today?" Des asked Abby's mum kindly. Abby loved that about him. He's always asking how the Woods were."So, what are you doing today, Abby? Other than working with your family?" Des asked Abby. Abby's heart and stomach fluttered. "we are going to a museum today," she replied. Abby loved spending time with her family, even if her friends found it weird. Her mum and dad really wanted her to grow and hang out with her friends more, even when they didn't want to let go of their innocent little girl. Des looked down."Oh, ok," he replied, disappointed, hoping she was free. "You are more than welcome to join us. You two can go ahead a look around and explore the ancient history of dinosaurs. While Chris and I stay back with Bren and Levi stay captivated with the giants." Melissa chuckled, looking at her daughter's crush. Abby looked at her mother, blushing. "Um, if that's ok with you, Abby?" Des asked. Abby smiled, "I'll message you when we are leaving here," Abby gave him a smile, along with his muffin and coffee.Des and Melissa understood each other. His mother was a teen mum too, and they are still good friends. They met at a mummy and me class for teen parents. As babies, Abby and Des were best of friends. However, things changed when high school came along, and they drifted apart until they started hanging out at school again._______Chris POVWalking into our cafe, I see my beautiful wife's butt, my daughter talking to her crush, and our twins Brenna and Levi cleaning the tables. It made me smile that our family loved working together at our cafe.I placed my hand on her sexy butt, giving it a squeeze kissing her on the neck."Morning again," I smiled, winking at her."Morning," my wife replied, kissing me back on the cheek."Hey tris, how are you? How was camp?" Melissa asked our adoptive son Tristan."It was amazing. Thank you both for funding the trip for us. We all enjoyed it. It was also great to have one last trip with group home friends from the group home." Tristan smiled, hugging his mum. Thankfully, they could sponsor a trip to this group home he was in and out of.Tristan walked off to help his younger siblings, catching an eye on Abby's crush."How did the morning go?" I asked Melissa about the rundown of this morning's outcome."Our Morning went well good, two of our employees didn't turn up, one of them called us drunk, the other called at reasonable hour letting me know he couldn't come in," Melissa explained. "So I figured we could pay Brenna and Levi for the work they did," Melissa continued. Chris nodded. "How did Brenna go?" he questioned."As you can see, she took it off right away. It was a fight. Get it on too." Melissa moaned."she gets her stubbornness from you," Chris chuckled."And she gets her persistent quality from you; we've taught her well" Melissa smiled."She does well without it; even here, teachers have said let her do it. Maybe when she's older, we will want two arms," Chris shrugged, not wanting any of them to grow up anymore."Anyway, I'm coming to take over, so you can go to class," I smiled. "Thank you," Melissa smiled back, kissing me."It won't belong. So I have called up another manager to come close while we are at the Museum," I explained."Des is coming. He said we would meet there," Melissa explained, happy their first-born daughter had somewhat of a date."Ok, so he came in today. That's like the 10th day in a row, over the holiday period. I think we need to talk to Abby and Tristan and. well." I explained with a chuckle, Sad that our two oldest are growing up. Melissa nodded in agreement."I'm going to say goodbye to the kids." Melissa smiled. Walking out to our 4 children laughing together, cleaning a large table."Hey, I'm going to class, so I'll see you at the museum." Melissa smiled, giving them an enormous hug and kiss each. Not worrying about the other local patrons since they see them almost daily, before and after school._________Authors POVMelissa sat on a bay window, where the sun gently glistened on her tanned skin. Sitting there, she's reflecting on her life. 5 years ago, Melissa was a single mum in an abusive relationship with Abby's biological. She was meeting ends meets and having terrible encounters with her ex. Abby's biological finally signed his right away, giving up his daughter Abby to her new father, Chris. Abby's biological father hasn't been seen since.Thinking of her life now, she heard the voices of her children in the quiet Museum, where it echoed through the skeleton bones of the dinosaurs. The staff there knew them well. They were regulars. The whole family continued to give a generous donation each time from one of the family members to help with running programs for kids and anyone who wanted to learn about dinosaurs.Melissa closed her books as her two little ones approached. Tristan walked with his dad talking while Abby and Des walked behind them, holding hands."Hey babies", Melissa hugged Brenna and Levi, surprised Brenna was wearing her prosthetic arm. Brenna explained Des thought it was cool and she should wear it.She waited for her husband, eldest son and eldest daughter to arrive with her date, so they could start walking around the Museum. Levi jumped up and down, raising his voice, asking everyone to hurry so they could all go see the fossils around the Museum. The family of 6 plus Abby's date, Des, walked around looking at each fossil, reading about them and their life.Melissa picked up Levi so he could see all the different parts of the dinosaur's bones and so he could read everything about them.Brenna went along with everything dinosaur. Her genuine interest in baseball, like Tristant. The two also loved helping people. When Both Tristan and Brenna talked with Abby about the stats and team of baseball. Brenna and Tristan would think of ways to give back to the community and make a pitch to their dad to see if he could help y helping them start a campaign, giving them tips on how they can raise money. However, Brenna also loved dancing, so she tossed between the two.Abby and Tristan loved baseball. So that's where they bonded. Abby loved to draw and hoped she could be an artist one day. So when they came to the Museum, she would sketch all the prehistoric animals and humans. Abby would take her sketch pad and pencils everywhere. When an idea came to mind, or Abby saw a beautiful object, she could sketch it.Tristan focused on his baseball. However, with the help of his father and mother, he could help others like they helped him. Tristan would occasionally go back home and help with new kids who came in and saw some of his old friends. Some of them turned their backs on him because the Woods adopted him, but he loved to help as much as he could.Abby loved baseball. She loved to play and watch on TV or when they got to go to home games. However, her art is where Abby exceeded. She had a plan in her head. If she couldn't do baseball, she would do art. Two careers, one at the opposite end of the scales. Her mum and dad wanted the best for her, so they allowed her to do both until she could decide. All the children walked in front of their parents, looking around. Both parents followed behind. Chris put Melissa's bag on his back since Tristan held the family bag.The family stopped at a family Homo sapiens from ancient times. Tristan read it out to the family. Melissa smiled. "What are you smiling about?" Chris asked his wife."I never thought since I had Abby and was in that abusive relationship, I would have a family like this. that enjoyed doing things together," she smiled. Chris kissed her hairline, holding her. "There is something else," He spoke.Melissa said. "Tris, Abby and Des, take Bren and Levi and Keep walking. We were going to stay here for a bit," Melissa explained. Abby looked at her mum worriedly, but she smiled and nodded. So Abby took her brothers and sister along with Des.Chris looked confused. "What's wrong?" he asked, apprehensive, as they always included their kids in a discussion, considering them a unit and always wanted their opinion."I was going to classes and loved it. I still love dinosaurs, but I found it so boring." Melissa started. "I am so sorry," her face dropped."It's ok" her husband kissed her on the four heads. "Yes, I know. I received a message," Chris smiled."I should be sorry that I didn't tell you. I wanted you to come to me," Chris replied, wrapping his arms around his wife, once again placing a tender kiss on her forehead."I love you" Melissa smiled."I love you too and our unborn baby," Chris smiled. Melissa looked up at him, startled. "I....." Melissa started, "How did you know?" She asked. "I found it," he whispered with a smile."This is our life, and I love it" Melissa smiled, walking with her husband towards their children.
