AN: This occurs on the day Luke warns her. Prompt is that Diane is trying to get close to Ivy.

Diane stared at Ivy as she took notes. Ivy never once looked up while the teacher was talking and was just writing. It seemed like Diane had a lot to learn about her classmate.

Ivy didn't look up. "I can feel your eyes on me. Cut it out and focus on the teacher."

Diane and the others were baffled by how straightforward Ivy was. Even the teacher looked at Ivy with a funny expression. What was up with her?

Ivy finally drew her head up and shot a glare at the teacher. If looks could kill, the teacher would probably be dead. Her one eye was filled with cold, frigid anger. It looked very intimidating to the teacher. It was a sign to get on with the lesson and stop the staring. Could history class be any worse?

When the bell rang for the next class, Ivy was out of her seat. Diane followed close behind. What surprised Diane was Ivy stopping and then beckoning to Diane. Diane took that as a sign to get closer. Once she was close enough, Ivy began walking again.

The air was tense and silent between them. Diane rubbed the back of her neck. "So, can I-"

"I'll be asking the questions, thank you."

Diane froze at Ivy's words and only nodded. Ivy turned to Diane with a cold expression. "What do you want from me?"

Diane gulped. How was Ivy this terrifying and cold? Who pissed her off? Diane gulped again. "Um... who and what are you?"

Ivy only stared at Diane before letting out a bark of laughter. Diane was confused by this. "What's so funny?"

Ivy's expression had softened a little bit, but still remained cold. "You asked who I was. My name is Ivy."

"Ivy...?"

"Ivy Lilith Autumns. Happy now you annoying demon?"

"About the what-"

"You already know."

Diane just stared in confusion before it hit her. Ivy was a dryad. Well, maybe partial dryad, but still. Diane gaped at Ivy and Ivy shook her head. "I'm not telling you anymore than that."

Diane just pouted and Ivy shrugged.

-Gym Class-

Gym was interesting. Especially since there was a dryad/partial dryad in the room. Since the sweet scent was also imbued in a dryad's sweat, gym was hard for everyone to get through without focusing on that ridiculously sweet scent.

Ivy was lifting some weights and Diane noticed that she was getting eyed like a piece of meat. Diane decided to help her.

Ivy felt something on her neck and saw that a towel had been pressed there by Diane. Ivy accepted the towel and mopped up her sweat as well as accepting water from her with a suspicious look. The rest looked fairly disappointed.

Diane ended up exercising alongside Ivy. Ivy needed someone to lay on her while doing pushups? Diane was there. Diane wasn't sure how she felt, but the treatment was better.

Baby steps.
