"Why you? Because you're my... which is why..."

"Lilith?"

Ivy suddenly woke up at the bottom of the stairwell. What happened? Two pairs of footsteps reached her. "Ivy?"

Ivy got up and turned around to see her sisters standing there. Ivy had to decide what to do with them and fast.

Let's see. I could let them keep their memories, but they're from the past and I'm from the future. If they know too much, I run the risk of warping history. The only option I really have is to erase their memories of ever seeing me. Maybe I'll have a little fun while I'm at it.

Ivy smiled at them. "Please turn around. I need to do something."

The two seemed confused, but they turned around anyway. Ivy took out a black crystal pendant that she had received from her eldest first cousin, Slate. If her sister crushed it, the magic inside would turn her banshee genes into that of a corrupted siren. It would be a perfect plan.

Ivy put the necklace around Avalon's neck before stepping back. Ivy then muttered something in Latin before snapping her fingers. Immediately, her spell started to take effect. Ivy then crept into the shadows to wait.

...

Avalon rubbed her head. What the bloody hell had just happened? "Ria, what are we doing here?"

Maria was just as confused. "I don't know. Maybe we thought we'd find Ivy here?"

Avalon shrugged. Shouting then drew their attention. Maria blinked. "What's going on?"

Avalon narrowed her eyes. "I don't know, but I reckon it can't be anything good. We should hurry up and see what all the ruckus is about."

The two raced off, unaware of the figure trailing right behind them.

When they got to the stairs, they noticed the person in Mammon's arms. "Ivy! Hang in there, Ivy!"

Maria raced down the stairs and appeared at his side. "Mammon..."

Mammon turned and watched as Maria knelt down and grabbed her sister's limp hand with her own. Tears began to fall from her face as Maria started to weep.

Avalon clutched at the black crystal of the pendant so hard that it crushed. Shadows filled her senses. She heard Belphie laughing. "Mammon, you look like such a fool! A human's about to kick the bucket, and yet here you are panicking as if it's the end of the world!"

Beel managed to grab Avalon, who was now a corrupted siren, before she could get to Belphie and get herself killed too. Lucifer glared at Belphie. "Belphie, you..."

Beel glared at his twin brother as he tried to hold Ivy's twin back. "Belphie, what have you done?!"

Levi was in a panicked state. "This is awful. What's going to happen to Ivy?!"

The figure who had followed Avalon and Maria was now standing at the top of the stairwell, watching everything. Satan was worried. "Ivy is a human. With injuries this bad, the chances of survival are..."

Asmo turned to the eldest brother. "Lucifer, can't we do something?!"

Lucifer growled. Belphie grinned like a maniac. "Yes... yes! Perfect! That's exactly the look I was hoping to see on your face, Lucifer!"

Belphie then started laughing. Mammon cradled Ivy's "body" close. "Ivy, don't you die! Ivy...!"

The figure looked down from the stairwell to see the body. The figure was none other than Ivy Lilith Autumns.
