A/N: This is Ivy during her first night in Beel's room.

Ivy made sure Beel was asleep before talking out her contact lens case and taking the green contact out. After placing it in its case, she placed it back in her pocket and lied down on her back. Her eye then shut as sleep enveloped her.

Ivy didn't sleep well. She had a nightmare. Specifically, it was of the incident. It was terrifying to replay that moment. Her father slamming the back of her head onto the counter top and then cutting all those lines over her left eye... Ivy only shuddered every time she remembered.

The incident was happening. She saw it through her eyes again. Or, well, eye now. It was just as horrifying. Those blazing eyes, the pain, the screaming. Ivy wanted it to end. Ivy wanted to get out. If she stayed in this moment any longer she might-- "Ivy..."

Ivy heard a faraway voice call for her. It called again. "Ivy..."

Ivy had to force herself to open her eyes...

"IVY!"

"AGH!"

Ivy bolted upright. Sweat was cascading down her forehead and neck. She panted heavily as she stared down at the blanket. A large hand on her shoulder caught her attention. "Your eyes are violet?"

Ivy blinked. It was dark in the room. How did Beel know her eyes were violet? Oh wait. She forgot that her eyes lit up like that when she was frightened. One of the many perks of being a Cosmos. Thank gosh her body hadn't lit up with stars. That would've been another story to explain. Beel caught her attention again. "Ivy? You okay? You're sweating pretty hard. What did you dream about that made you this terrified?"

Ivy finally focused on him. "Just a nightmare about killer clowns and kidnappings and what not."

"Are you sure? Because you were saying no, stop, father please, and screaming. Did your father do something to you when you were younger?"

Ivy went dead silent. Beel could suddenly tell he hit a sensitive topic. "You don't have to tell me."

Ivy sighed. "I won't. You haven't earned my trust yet."

"Does it have to do with the bang?"

"A question for another time."

So it was about that. Beel decided not to press it. Ivy sighed. "I can relate to you, you know?"

Beel blinked at her. "In what way?"

"Both of us were separated from our twin."

Beel almost fell off the bed. Did he hear Ivy correctly? Ivy turned to him. "I know that look. Yes, I have a twin. A female twin."

Beel was now interested. "What's she like?"

"Well, her name is Avalon for starters. The family just calls her Ava. She and I are different from you two though. Where you two look nothing alike, we look pretty similar. Same hair and eye color. You might be confused on who's who if I wasn't a tad bit taller and didn't have the bang."

'And scar.'

"Were your personalities similar?"

"Somewhat. Where I'm more paranoid and anxious, Ava is more two faced and channels some of the ditzy blonde energy to get away with anything she does wrong. She could trip someone, say it was an accident, and they wouldn't question her. I'm more paranoid and anxious with others though."

"Do you get along?"

"We basically live together and we haven't killed each other so yeah, we're fine. We get along even if we argue."

"How old are you?"

"23-24. I can live on my own, but I live with my twin."

"Do you have any other family besides your parents?"

"You mean other siblings? Yeah."

"That's what I meant."

"I have a half-sister. Her name is Maria. She is the sweetest little munchkin you will ever meet. She's also two faced though, so make sure you watch out for that if you ever meet her. I did teach her how to break bones after all."

"You taught her how to break bones?"

"Mhm. She's a woman. Women have it rougher than men even though it's more fair now. Maria needs to have every weapon at her disposal. Ava knows how to break bones as well. Plus, we do have the chancla if worst comes to worst."

"Why do you keep calling the sandal/flip-flop that?"

"Because I was raised by a Spanish mother who insisted on calling it that. It's the favored weapon of the household."

"Question."

"Shoot."

"Does Mammon know what's under the bang?"

"He does. He found out by accident and swore never to tell anyone what he saw when I threatened him with the chancla."

Beel hummed. Ivy then yawned. "Well Beel, chat has been pleasant, but I'm afraid sleep is calling my name at the moment. Goodnight."

Beel nodded as she turned on her side. "Night Ivy. Hope the chat helped you."

A little "mhm" greeted him before it was replaced by steady breathing. Beel noted that and pushed himself off the bed and back onto the couch.

His eyes couldn't help but find her again. A twin. Ivy had a twin that she was separated from as well. A twin that she loved as much as Beel loved Belphie. Beel shut his eyes.

Maybe Ivy was right about something after all...

Oh my gosh. I felt my heart burst writing this. This is just purely fluff. I thought about this scene multiple times after writing Chapters 20 and 21. I just couldn't help it! It seemed so cute in my head. Ivy has a nightmare so she gets woken up by Beel and they chat about Ivy's family in the human world. Beel finds out that Ivy was separated from her twin as well. It just seemed too good to pass up.
