Ivy then thought about it. Turn invisible? As if that were possible with her current situation! Wait, didn't the wall next to her hide a secret?
-Flashback-
Beel pointed something out to Ivy. "Take a look at this, Ivy. Look at this spot on the wall. It looks like a decorative pattern, but I can make out words written there. It's a message written in the language of angels. This is what it says: 'When the morning star dwelt in the heavens, its light shone down upon this one, sparkling brilliantly, the eighth of eight'. It's a riddle. And more importantly, I know the answer to it."
-End of Flashback-
'When the morning star dwelt in the heavens, its light shone down upon this one, sparkling brilliantly, the eighth of eight'. Ivy never once forgot the answer. It was her middle name after all. "Lilith."
-Flashback-
Beel explained the answer. "'The morning star' is another name for Lucifer. So, 'when the morning star dwelt in the heavens' means 'when Lucifer was an angel'. 'Its light shone down upon this one, sparkling brilliantly, the eighth of eight'. That part refers to someone Lucifer loved deeply: the eighth child of eight, our sister. Her name was Lilith."
-End of Flashback-
Ivy opened the door to Lilith's room once it opened and stepped inside, closing it behind her. It was warm in Lilith's room. What's more, Ivy recognized the room. It felt like someplace she knew very well. There was a knock on the door before a voice caught her ears. "I'm coming in, okay?"
Ivy turned to see Levi looking at her. "Aha, I thought I'd find you in here. Wait, Belphie's not here? Huh, that's weird... He was just telling me that he was going to stop by your room. Both of you were playing hide-and-seek, right? He said he couldn't find you. He looked like he was about to cry. Why don't you try to go find Belphie yourself? I mean, I guess it's hard to say who's it at this point, but still. Well, see ya later."
Ivy blinked. What the flying f*ck? Ivy shook her head before going to try looking for Belphie.
...
While looking, she heard the sound of two people arguing. She heard Belphie's voice. "What scares you is the thought of disappointing Diavolo, isn't it?! Say something! Lucifer! The old Lucifer wasn't like this. He wasn't afraid of what someone else thought of him. He wasn't pathetic like this."
Ivy then heard Lucifer's voice. "You're free to think whatever you want, Belphegor. Also... I'd say you've changed as well."
Ivy stiffened. Someone was coming down the stairs towards her! Ivy decided to hide. She hid and watched as Lucifer walked by before ascending the staircase.
...
When she reached the top, she heard Belphie's voice. "Someone... anyone, please... Someone help me."
Ivy called out through the door. "Belphie."
No answer. Ivy touched the door. It creaked open under her touch, surprising her. Inside, she heard Belphie lightly snoring. He was asleep. Ivy knelt beside the bed in front of him. "Wake up."
Belphie hummed in his sleep before Ivy heard words. "I miss you... Lilith..."
"Sorry..."
Belphie stirred a bit before his eyes shot open. He glared at her. "... Wh-what are you doing here...?
