Ivy was in her room at the moment. Her eyes landed on her phone screen. The phone reminded her of the date. March 17th. Her 24th birthday. Her phone buzzed at that moment. She looked at the caller ID. Asmo. She clicked the pick up and pressed her phone to her ear. His cheerful voice greeted her. "Happy birthday, Ivy! I wanted to be the first one to wish you a happy birthday, so I waited here next to my phone until the clock hit midnight! Before you came here, I never imagined I'd be so excited to celebrate someone else's birthday."

Ivy snickered quietly. She could guess why. Asmo continued. "I love you so much, Ivy! Though not as much as I love myself, of course. That's okay with you, right?"

Ivy smiled. "Yeah, it's fine."

"I knew you'd say that! I knew you liked me for who I am--the beautiful, adorable, charming demon that loves himself above all else. But, to be honest, I do sometimes imagine, like... what if someone came along that I liked more than myself? What would I do then? You're one person I could actually see myself feeling that way about."

Ivy felt her face warm at the proclamation. Asmo hummed. "If the day does come, you'd best be careful. I might not be able to resist the urge to sink my teeth into you anymore. I'm thankful that you were born on this day and that you ended up coming here to us. I hope you feel just as happy to have met us--I mean ME. My brothers and I are going to do our best to ensure that you stay happy today, so expect to have fun! Here's hoping that this next year turns out to be a magical one for you."

With that, the phone call ended. Mammon had updated Ivy about plans for a late night party with her family. Ivy had nearly knocked him over due to the hug she gave him. That was yesterday.

Since it was midnight, the insomniac that was Ivy just decided to play around with her magic. She just hoped that things would go well today.

When it was a more reasonable time, Ivy's phone buzzed again. She picked up after looking at the caller ID. Levi's voice reached her ears. "Happy birthday... to you... Today's your birthday, right? So, I thought I might as well call and offer you my birthday wishes. I mean, it doesn't mean anything to ME, of course. But I noticed that Mammon and Asmo and the others were excited about it. So, I figured I should go ahead and do something to celebrate too. Now, this is going to be amazing, so prepare yourself. Ta-da! I'm going to let you have free reign over my book collection! You can spend all day reading whatever you want! Yay! What do you think? Pretty great, right? With all that stuff, I bet it'll be hard to pick what to read first."

Ivy smiled to herself. "I'll start with the TSL theatrical version scripts."

"You've only had a taste of the original work, and you already want to get into high-level fandom stuff like that?! I mean, the theatrical version is pretty bad. So bad that most fans don't even buy those scripts. But it's worth it to read the remarks written by the original playwright! He talks about the setting, and it includes stuff you'd never know by watching the play or the TV version. When you showed up, it gave me another person to talk about TSL with. And I feel like I've grown to love it even more as a result. A-Anyway, so that's the deal. Feel free to hole yourself up in my room all day long! Now hurry up! Otherwise I'll take off and head over to Anidaemon to do some shopping!"

"Coming right over."

When she arrived, Levi opened the door and let her in. An hour later, her phone buzzed. She looked at the caller ID and then picked up, excusing herself as she walked out. Satan's voice reached her ears. "Good morning Ivy. So, today's your birthday. How about that! To be honest, my brothers and I have been thinking about different ways to make your first birthday here in the Devildom a special one. We're going to start things off by treating you to a full-course breakfast fit for a demon king. After you've gotten dressed, could you come meet us in the dining room? The quicker the better, if possible."
