"Your eyes," Teresa points out.
"My eyes?" Will asks as he plays with her hair.
"Yup... You have this fiery red hair and then these dark eyes..." Teresa starts dreamingly. "It's like... they are endless. Like black holes, you know? You get close enough and they suck you in."
"My eyes?" Will asks again, amused. "Black holes?"
"Yeah, but in a cool way."
"Black holes are like the most horrifying thing in space."
"What?!" Teresa questions shocked by that statement. "Are you kidding me?"
"It's true. Not even light can get out of that..."
"Listen, we are going to be watching a lot of space documentaries and shit... Black holes are amazing."
"So, my eyes are amazing?"
"Hell yeah. But fine. If you don't like the black hole analogy, then... then they are like hooks. Hooks with a soul. And once you see that soul, you just can't see anything else. You're hooked."
"What about my amazing physic... or medical talents?"
"You are just fishing for compliments... You're not gonna get it."
"Come on, let's go eat some breakfast." Will says as he slides his arm from Teresa's shoulders and starts getting out of the bed.
Teresa turned to her side and looked at her phone. She had two text messages from Jay.
"Hey, I gotta go." She says slightly uneasy.
"What's wrong?"
"Where are you? Come to 21st asap." Teresa reads the texts. "I guess Intelligence found something on the case we're working on."
"So, no breakfast?"
"I'll get something on the go. Can I take a quick shower?"
"Yes, sure. It's all yours." Will offers.
In less than 10 minutes later Teresa is walking out Will's door. He had asked if she wanted a ride, but she said she didn't need one and would just take the 'L' and walk.
"Hey, Sergeant Platt. Good morning." Teresa greets as she walks in the district with the rest of her coffee in hand.
"Logan. You're here... early." Platt says slightly surprised.
"Early? We have a case, I should have been here over an hour ago or something."
"Well... I need you to check some paperwork..." Platt starts looking behind her.
"Right now?" Teresa asks disappointed. "I'm needed in the investigation, Sergeant. I'll check it as soon as I'm it's closed." Platt was about to intervene again, but Teresa spoke first. "I promise! First thing after I close the case!"
Teresa goes up the stairs and buzzes to go up. In the bullpen she sees Antonio, Kevin and Adam.
"Good morning."
"What uh... what are you doing here?" Antonio asks.
"I work here?" Teresa says confused. "Anyway..." Teresa says brushing off the awkwardness, "Jay told me to come here asap. What's up? Where is he?"
"Jay talked to you?"
"He texted me..." Teresa says uneasy.
It was starting to get weird with the questions and the way they were acting as if she wasn't supposed to be there.
