"I didn't think you'd be actually able to sleep."

It was roughly 5:30a.m. and Teresa was getting dressed after taking a quick shower while she'd left the coffee machine do its magic. As soon as they had gotten home, Teresa took off her clothes and crashed on the bed. Exhausted as she was she didn't even take a minute to fall asleep.

"Not even when I got in bed did you wake up."

"Yeah, sorry about that. I should have also taken a shower before getting in bed since it was over a day and a half without one..."

"That's no big deal. I was going to change the sheets anyways and you clearly needed to sleep. Just didn't think you would, actually."

"Why not?" Teresa wondered, since he was repeating it.

"Well... because of Olinsky, I guess..."

"If I came home I might as well rest, otherwise I would just stay at the district working, right?"

"Yeah, absolutely."

"You still have time before work?" Teresa asked as Will laid in bed watching her.

"Yup."

"Then go back to sleep and rest," she said as she put one knee on the bed, bent down, held her weight up with her hand on the bed and kissed Will's forehead.

She backed only a little before Will grabbed her by the back of her neck and made her bend down again and kiss him on the lips this time.

Teresa needed that kiss and the comfort of Will's arms, so she slowly dropped her arm and laid half on top of Will half on the bed, surrounding him with one arm.

"I love you," Teresa said as her lips remained on his.

"I love you, Tez."

Teresa breathed in and hugged him, letting her chin come to Will's shoulder and feeling him hug her body, leaving no space between them.

"I don't know when I'll be back, but hopefully we get something good today."

"You can take my car if you want," Will suggested as he let her go and she sat on the bed and caressed his bare arm. "You already woke up so early, might as well get there quicker and use the extra time."

"You'll be fine without it?"

"I can walk to med."

"Well then... I will take the car and get more minutes in."

"Take care and let me know if you need anything."

"I will." She leaned over again just to give him a small peck and then got up and left the room.

She got her coffee on a cup and left the house, taking Will's car keys.

When she got to the district, Adam was already there.

"Ruz, hey." She greeted.

"You're here early" he said.

Teresa scoffed, "You're one to talk."

"Couldn't sleep. You?"

"I did, a few hours, but woke up not long ago. What do you have so far?"

She approached Adam's desk and he started telling everything he had checked and was checking.

"These are some of Al's old cases," Adam said. "I'm looking over them trying to see who he arrested, who might have wanted to have him killed and has a connection to Andre Gomez."

"He's worked on a lot of cases..." Teresa said looking back at the boxes full of archives of Olisnky's cases.

"Don't I know it."
