Several ODs made Intelligence go back to work. There was dope out on the streets killing more people than usual, so they needed to work fast and effectively.

They all met at a park where two out of five bodies were found. Voight had some nasty bruises on his face, but when Adam asked about it, he dismissed the talk.

"Now, Antonio is gonna take the lead," Voight says surprising the unit. "So get on the horn with CFD right away. Get a list of all the ODs the past two days, the exact locations the bodies were found. Track down the 911 tapes, tox reports..."

"I got it, Hank. I'm good," Antonio interrupts, not needing a list of what he needed to do to get the job done.

"Sarge, you want to tell us what's going on?" Jay asks. "Why aren't you involved?"

"The COPA thing. They're still investigating the shooting. Listen, I'm on the bench until it's resolved."

"Way to step up, bro," Adam says accusatorily to Antonio.

"Stay out of this, Adam," Antonio retorts.

"Hey. Enough," Voight stops it. "Now listen, everything is gonna be fine. So stop talking, and track down that bad dope."

After checking out the scene at the park they got back to the district, minus Voight.

Teresa and Jay were in the car when Jay spoke to her for the first time that morning.

"So... Will called me two days ago."

"About what?" Teresa asks uninterested.

"He said you guys had a fight."

"Yeah, this is part of the reason of the fight. He's not supposed to talk to me to you like that."

"He was just a brother speaking to another brother."

"He asks you what you know as you work as my partner."

"True. But as I told you before, I will never speak to him about what you tell me in confidence, while we work or not. And when he asked I didn't say anything at all. Not that I know what he's talking about, though."

"Great."

"So you guys fought and you just left the apartment?"

"This is my personal life, Jay. Maybe we should not talk about it while at work."

"But you went back? Will didn't speak to me again."

"Of course, I went back. And I talked to Will even before leaving, by the way, and again when I went back. It's settled."

"Where did you go?"

"Boxing. With Antonio." Teresa looks at Jay. "Let's focus on the job, okay?"

Jay nods, knowing he won't get anything more out of Teresa for the time being.

When they got to the district, they set up the board with the victims.

"Same tox report for all five DOAs," Jay says. "Heroin cut with battery acid."

"Battery acid? Really?" Kim asks.

"That means it's intentional," Antonio affirms. "It means somebody's trying to put bodies on the street."

"Wait, so, is this business or is this some sicko serial killer out here just trying to kill people with dope instead of bullets?" Kevin wonders.

"Well, all five ODs are on the West Side between Sacramento and California," Jay points out. "It's confined to one area, which is a good thing."
