Can You Hear Me?

Just two days after her return, on Wednesday Intelligence had gathered in another case.

Jay and Teresa were together in the middle of a crowd watching Brianna Woods' speech at an antipolice demonstration.

"But when Jamal Tate and Chris Taylor took a knee to protest police violence, they were suspended," Brianna says as people around her booed that. "They cannot suspend our freedom of speech and our freedom to protest."

Everybody started cheering, Teresa and Jay played along but not half as enthusiastic as everyone else.

"Denny Woods' daughter running an antipolice demonstration. I think that's the actual definition of irony." Teresa says slightly amused to Jay.

"Amazing."

Brianna let another young man take the word and speak to the crowd now. He said that racism was so American that when they protested it, people think they were protesting America.

"But protesting injustice, that's what the flag stands for."

"I got no respect for this kid," Jay whispers to Teresa. "I got six friends who died for that flag."

"Yeah, I've seen Marines going down too," Teresa affirms, but not completely agreeing with Jay.

"Any sign of David Dixon?" Jay asks to the rest of the team in his small hidden mic.

"Nothing yet," Antonio answers.

In the meantime, Adam started making conversation with a guy named Amos, who was a 'follower' of David Dixon. Then Antonio spotted Dixon coming with other men around him and joined Adam, Amos, and other few white males with American flags, ready to disturb the antipolice demonstration.

"Those people over there, they hate our country?" Dixon asks when he gathers with the rest.

The other kid who spoke after Brianna was right, they were protesting racism, but other folks just thought they were protesting America.

"Disrespecting our police, disrespecting our flag, right?" Dixon continues. "And my question to you is, what are we waiting for?"

The man cheer with Dixon and then start moving.

"Heads up, these guys are on the move, heading your way," Antonio announces to the rest of the team.

"You don't deserve to call yourself an American," Dixon shouts as he gets closer.

He and the ones following him keep shouting things as they, start pushing people around, to get to the middle of the crowd and 'talk' with the ones that had organized the demonstration.

Dixon then pushes a young black man to the ground and the another who was standing next to him punches Dixon and all hell breaks loose.

Teresa and Jay were in the middle. Teresa started breaking up a heated fight between two men, when Jay spotted Brianna Woods on the ground, bleeding, and went to help her.

The Chicago Police Department showed up, with equipment and started dropping gas to end the big brawl as well as hitting people with their batons.

Some people started running and others were arrested. There were 29 arrests in total but none of them was Dixon and after sweeping the area there was no sign of him either. Antonio, Teresa and Jay had just gathered when a radio call came in, saying that there were multiple calls of shots fired at the CCU West parking structure, near where they were.

They started running there and when they got there, they took out their guns and started looking for anyone. When they got near a car with its alarm going off, Jay spotted the body and Teresa crunched down to see if the man had a pulse.
