After their heart to heart, Jay and Teresa went to have some dinner with Will, who joked, saying that Jay should get a girlfriend of his own so that instead of a third-wheel, they'd just have a double date.

Teresa didn't say anything about getting drunk the night before and crashing at Antonio's, and she wasn't sure when or if she was going to say it, even though it was important to let him know that she had struggled and gave in.

Mid-dinner Jay answered a call.

"What?" he asked, his smile disappearing and being replaced by a frown.

Noticing how the blood was drained from his face, Teresa slowly put down her food and dropped her smile as well.

"I'll be right there," he announced. "No, I'm with Teresa, I'll take her with me."

Without saying anything else, Jay hung up the phone and stood up.

"We gotta go," he said to Teresa.

"What's going on?" she asked as she stood up as well, her insists fromt he job kicking in, knowing something can happen any moment and they are called into work.

"It's Olinsky."

"What?" Teresa frozed, uncomprehending what he meant.

Olinsky was in jail and he already had failed bail. He hadn't had another hearing since that morning, so nothing on him staying in jail had changed.

"We gotta go. Voight is at Med."

"Med?"

That made Teresa start moving again, getting her jacket on.

"Should I go with you guys?" Will asked, concerned.

"No, you stay here. The rest of Intelligence is on their way."

"See you later, Will," Teresa said quickly, giving him a quick kiss before walking behind Jay out the apartment.

"What happened?" Teresa asked as they were already in the car.

"I'm not really sure..." Jay said as he looked out the street to make sure he was staying away from other cars. "Antonio called, said that Trudy had told him Olinsky was sent to Med in critical condition."

"This is why... this is why the bail hearing..."

"I know. Let's just get to the hospital and see what they tell us."

When they got to the hospital they saw Kim parking her own car. Teresa waited for Kim as Jay went ahead.

"Let's go," Teresa said, more to herself than to Kim, as she surrounded Kim's waist with her arm.

They were able to see Jay and followed him to a waiting room where Antonio, Kevin, Adam and Platt were in.

Teresa released her grip on Kim only to go to Platt and hug her.

"What happened?" she asked, taking a step back as Jay and Kim stepped forward to listen to what Platt had to say.

"They said Olinsky was going back to his cell and as soon as the guard left him, someone jumped him and stabbed him."

"How bad is it?"

Teresa didn't wonder how someone had stabbed Olinsky. It was jail, but prisioners, with a lot of free time, were very creative and would find ways to create small weapons they could use.

"He was conscious when they brought him in," Platt confirms, "but... it was bad."

"Being conscious is a good sign, though, right?" Teresa asked for assurance even though Platt could not give it to her.
