You Ready?

Teresa woke up to a strange alarm clock. She was sure hers would play some piano melody, not the standart annoying noise that was awful to wake up to.

The alarm went off without her moving.

"Am I late for work?" She asks, although her voice is muffled by the pillow she has her head in.

"Don't know. What time do you have to be there?"

Teresa doesn't answer, dozing off a bit.

"You have three missed calls from Halstead." The man speaks again. "And a text."

Teresa turned her head around and stared at Kelly's blue eyes. "What does it say?"

"We got a case. Come a.s.a.p." Kelly puts the phone down and grabs her by the waist. "Don't go."

"I wish I could stay," Theresa rolls over so she can stare at Kelly's blue eyes, "but work is work and I just started. I don't want to let the team down."

She then rolls over again and picks up her clothes from the floor.

"Can I take a quick shower before I go?"

"Yeah, sure. There are washed towels in the bathroom."

"Thanks."

Teresa gets into the bathroom and 5 minutes later she's out again with her hair wet.

"Can you come over again tonight?" Kelly asks her. "I could make some dinner for us."

"I don't know... It depends on the case we have and at what time I leave." She says while getting dressed.

"Then I'll just cook dinner and you can come over at whatever time you leave."

"You don't want me here at two in the morning after I have 17 hours of work on top of me."

"Well, just text me when you're done then."

"If that helps you sleep better... sure."

"I really liked last night." He says with a smirk and a naughty look.

"Don't look at me like that." Teresa says with a smile. "It makes me want to eat you up!" She says as she jumps on top of him and starts kissing him. "I really have to go."

"I'll see you later."

Teresa gets to the District as fast as she can. She goes quickly upstairs to meet with the team. Jay updated Teresa on the situation and they all quickly got prepared with guns and bulletproof vests. While going to the location everyone kept quiet.

At the scene Voigt showed the blue-prints to the team and told where each pair would go. Burgess was staying on watch in a car near-by.

Burgess informed the team over the radio that two males had just appeared carrying large duffle bags. Voigt decided that was the moment they had been waiting for to go in.

They all seperated inside and went to their designated places. Teresa and Jay were each at a side of the door. Jay reached his hand out to get the doorknob, but there was a shot fire that blew a large hole into the door.

"10-1. 10-1." Jay says. "Shots fired at the police. 45-33 West Archer."

They both heard a "copy that" by dispatch.

"You ready?" Jay asks looking at Teresa who nods firmly. Jay picks his head in the large hole just long enough to see a male run. Jay opened the door as he said "Go," to Teresa and then screaming "Police!"

There were four males in the room, filled with guns. They seperated in two groups, Teresa took one and Jay the other that went onto the street.

Teresa had shots fired at her but was able to dodge them and then continuing her pursuit. She heard multiple shots, and as she got into the room the two suspects went to, she saw Ruzek and Atwater.
