Teresa was feeling fatigue as the graduation ceremony dragged.

Her smaller bandage, just over the area she had stiches, was almost completely covered by the police hat, but the contusion in the temple and around her eyes was visible to all.

As soon as it was over, Teresa just wanted to get out of there.

She was walking, already outside when someone stood in the middle of the way. Teresa looked up to see a smiling Jay.

"Congrats."

"Jay." She sighs but smiles.

"What? The ceremony was inside. You said you didn't want anyone in the ceremony. I stayed outside of it."

"Only you to find loopholes in whatever I say." Teresa shakes her head, amused.

"Here," Jay, who had one of his hands behind his back, shows her a bouquet of flowers.

"Are you serious? Jay... come on. This is too much."

"What? They're not from me." Jay shurgs.

"What?" Teresa asks confused and takes the bouquet in her hands. She finds the card and opens it.

"I figured if he was here, he'd be the first to congradualte you and he'd bring you flowers." Jay admits.

Jay had taken a lot of thought, wondering if it was indelicate or not and if Teresa would be upset, but he figured his intentions were good and Teresa would know that and she would be thankfull.

«Congradulations! I'm very proud of you and I'll be watching over you. Keep the good work. From you big brother, Toby»

Teresa puts the car in the flowers again and looks at Jay, who raises an eyebrow not really knowing if expecting a slap or a 'thank you'.

Jay was surprised when Teresa didn't say anything and just threw her arms around him.

"Thank you, Jay. This is really nice."

"Don't thank me. I'm just a messenger."

Teresa chuckles and steps back.

"I was thinking of going to the cemetery. Wanna come with me?"

"Yeah, sure. I'll go with you. Come on, my car is just around the corner."

Jay drives calmly.

"So, where exactly are you staying?"

"Uh... just with a friend."

"What are you doing the rest of the day?"

"I don't know, I guess I'll just rest."

"You know what? I'll drive you to wherever you're staying and you rest and later you come to Molly's." Jay suggests.

"No, I don't really feel like it..."

"We're all going," Jay says shaking his head. "Just a drink to celebrate your hard-work."

Teresa tilts her head and looks at Jay, who forces an innocent smile.

"Just a drink, Teresa."

"Fine. A drink."

"Great. I'll pick you up later on if you want."

"No, it's fine." Teresa denies the offer too quickly. "I will just... I'll show up."

"Okay... Is there something wrong? Something you're not telling me?"

"No, no. It's just... you'd be going out of the way to get to me and I'm not staying that far from Molly's so I can get there on my own, no trouble."

When they get to the cemetery they walk in silence to Toby's grave.
