"Okay! Attempt number three!" Antonio announced loud and clear before spilling a bucket full of cold water on top of Teresa.
Teresa shot up on the bed, leaning up on a shoulder, her eyes open with the scare.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" she shouted.
"Tried to wake you up twice before," Antonio simply informed. "It's time to get up and get ready for Olinsky's hearing."
Teresa grunted and laid back into the bed.
"Come on, we have to go if you wanna get some clean clothes and a shower." Antonio said before looking again to Teresa and seeing her covering her eyes with her arm. "Hey" he walked to the side of the bed and bent down. "Teresa."
Teresa started sobbing and taking in deep breaths in.
"Hey, no, no, no," Antonio held her by the arms and tried to sit her up. "It's okay, Teresa. There's no need to be a baby about this."
"What have I done?" Teresa cried out.
"You got drunk, like many adults do." Antonio crunched down to make Teresa look down to him.
"No..." she shook her head as tears fell on her cheeks.
"Just let it go! There's nothing wrong in getting a bit drunk sometimes."
"I'm fucking everything up."
"Teresa, listen to me for a second!" Antonio said strongly. "You are not fucking anything up, okay? You got drunk, it happens. God knows I've gotten really drunk in the past. College kids pass out on the streets from drinking too much, there's people doing way worse than you every day."
Antonio looked at her in silence for a little while before speaking again.
"Now, let's get you to Will's apartment so you can take a shower and go to court, okay? Just let this go for a while, for Olinsky. After the hearing, we'll talk again."
Antonio managed to drag Teresa out of bed and get her to Will's apartment. Will had gone to work, so Teresa didn't have to face him, at least for now.
She took a long shower and then got ready. She took a bottle of water as she got out and went back to Antonio's car so they could get to court in time.
Inside the courthouse, they went to Platt, who was there with her uniform, and Kim, Kevin and Adam, all in suits.
"We should get going to the courtroom," Kim suggested.
"Jay is almost here, hold on," Adam said.
They stood there quietly, no one with anything to say and all worried for what would be decided for Olinsky in the hearing. Jay got there and they all went to the courtroom.
Antonio spotted Olinsky's wife and greeted her before they walked in. Inside, Antonio and Jay both took a seat on either side of Olinsky's wife in the first row, Teresa sat in between Kim and Kevin on the second row, with Adam on the other side of Kim and Platt was with another officer on the row behind them.
When Voight went in and sat next to Platt, Teresa looked back at him.
"I can't believe we're actually here," Platt said to Voight.
"It's gonna be alright," Voight simply said to Platt.
Then, Olinsky, on handcuffs, walked in, followed by a guard who took him to his seat. Everyone rose when they were ordered to just before Judge Maddox walked into the room and took her seat.
They announced the case and then the judge let the accusation speak first.
"Your Honor, given the serious nature of the charge, and the fact that the defendant was a veteran police officer with unique knowledge of the criminal justice system, as well as having access to confidential informants and members of organized crime syndicates, we believe he poses a significant flight risk. And as such, we would request that no bail be set, and that the defendant be remanded to Cook County Jail until trial."
