The team busted the other two man and after another 10 hours they recovered the crime weapon. Tyler and Tom were let out of the district when the team got together back at it and the guys were sent to jail in waiting for sentencing. The drugs were handed to Narcotics. Voight and Teresa went together back to the interrogation room, where there was a confession paper written and signed by Theodor Logan.

Voight sat down first and picked up the paper, reading it quietly.

"We got the confession." He says handing it to Teresa.

"Can I go now?"

"The thing is... we don't need it anymore. You took too long." Voight says amused. "We got the gun that was used on the murder and those guys are going to jail. We don't need this anymore."

"My daughter told me you'd let me go if I wrote it down." Theodor says in panick.

"I know. I told her she could tell you whatever she wanted as long as she'd get a confession out of you."

"Come on! I did nothing wrong! All I did was sell some drugs."

"Selling drugs is a fellony." Teresa says calmly. "You can go to jail for it. And... you were housing drug dealers, and murderers."

"We can send you away for a long time for it." Voight agrees.

"Please, I'm a good person!"

"No, you're not." Teresa leaves the room and Voight leaves a few seconds after her.

They both stand in the hallway, away from the rest of the team.

"He's not dangerous." Teresa says to Voight.

"But he has done dangerous, illegal stuff."

"I know Sergeant. But the men were preying on the weak, They threatned him and Julia and Tom and Tyler... They just got Theodor's addiction worse... They knew how to make him stay."

"What are you asking?"

"He won't make it in jail. And I know this is a lot to ask, but in South Side... it's all about drugs, Sergeant. You know there are a lot worse people dealing."

"You want him to go free?"

"I would really appreciate it, Sergeant. And I won't promise that he won't get his hands on drugs again, but... I was a kid at his mercy... He never cared, he never made sure my brother and I were okay, with money and food... He stole from us and made us go trough a terrible childhood. Now, he makes his own life shit, only his. I'm okay. And now the police cares? We shouldn't care, and let him make his own destiny."

Voight just nods his head slightly and then goes to his office.

A few minutes later the team was ready to leave the Disctric and get some sleep, since it was already morning and they were all tired. Teresa was waiting alone at the front of the District when Tom and Tyler showed up.

"Hey guys."

"Thanks for doing this, Tez." Tyler says as he hugs her. "I know he doesn't deserve it, but--"

"We're family." Teresa concludes. "I know and I understand. He doesn't deserve it, but I'm also not going to just let him go to jail when I can just ask my Sergeant for that favor."

"You're the best ever."

The door of the distric opens and Theodor comes out. "Freedom!" He screams.

Teresa just look at her brothers.

"You should thank Teresa." Tyler says. "She had to ask her Sergeant to let the charges go, otherwise you'd be going to jail right now.
